losing a friend

feeling a little down tonight- i just sent an email to my oldest & dearest friend, LG. we had an incident a few weeks ago where we had a few tense moments on the phone & he was pretty rude to me before hanging up. i sent an email saying i wont be treated that way & until you get your head out of your ass, don't call. he hasn't. hes not one that is accustomed to being told what an ass he can be at times, but we've been friends for 20 yrs so if not me, then who? i wrote to him last week saying i miss him & still love him, but haven't heard back. so i let him know tonight that he wont hear from me again until he lets me know he wants to. its just really hard because he's the only real world person that knows the side of me i show here. he understands me better than anybody i have ever known- (including ex husbands) so i think im gonna go get in the tub, prop up the leg, have a beer, & try to forget......

Ox- i know that one day we'll talk again, & it will be like we were never apart. its happened before, it's just really hard knowing i may not hear his voice for maybe years. glad i saved his last voice mail on the cell #. i will live.

 Hey girl its hard when friends have rough times between them but thats why they are friends because they can get mad at each other and get over it. If he is not getting over then there is a reason, there is something going on in his life so be sensitive until you find out for sure. You don`t want to make an ass out of yourself, even if he is just being an ass. Then if it turns out that he is being an ass I agree with alsonice he was`nt much of a friend to start with. I hope the knee is getting better. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.................

 Loss is a heavy thing to go through and deal with. It's something we are never show, or know till it happen to us. All we can do is pray they have gone to a better place, and take control of our sorrows.
