Wife refuses to have sex!

y wife refuses to have sex with me. We last had sex 1 1/2 years ago! Prior to that she desperately wanted to get pregnant so every month, like clock work, we had sex for about 1 1/2 weeks and then nothing until the next month. We had sex just one time after she got pregnant, about a month later (she made me limit entry to just halfway). Her pregancy was difficult, then she was on bed rest. Last spring we "tried" once. She rushed it (i.e. let's just get it over with), against my pleas and with no foreplay. I just started to enter her (just the tip) and she said it hurt and that was that. Our relationship has gone downhill since. She does not care about my wants or needs. She says she can't have sex with someone without feeling a certain way. She says she can live without sex. She refuses all forms of sex (even hand jobs). I can't remember the last time we kissed. I don't mention anything for weeks at a time but nothing changes. She blames me for the state of our relationship (i.e. treating her poorly). She is usually negative or hostile toward me. She puts me down and is extrememly demanding. I work harder around the house than most men (many friends and family members including her mom have told me this). What do I do? I am 33, she is 35. We have three children. I can't stand it any more. It is not just the lack of sex but the lack of real female companionship. I miss being intimate with a woman! She scoffs at the idea of counseling. She even ignores her mom when she tells her not to emasculate me (no, her mom does not know about our lack of sex). I see no way out. I have known her for 16 years (this is our second marriage to each other) and I am confident we are going nowhere. I am not ready for divorce yet because of our three children. |
