A friend went out on Valentines day. she finally realized that her boyfriend was a cheap/dud. He asked her out, but typically forgets his wallet again, or cards maxed out, etc . As usual she pays to avoid the embarrassment.
Stuff like this happens often and every time he acts cute and tries to dance out of it. But she notes he has occasionally remarked on how she makes more money than he does. It is a matter of less than $10,000 per year and they both have good careers. He is just CHEAP!!!
After dinner they went to her place and she jumped out of the car when he stopped to park. Now he he's been calling ad leaving apologetic messages on my voicemail.
