Drawing that line in the sand only works unless you're standing further ashore. -Me.

Seriously, I've lost friends and angered loved ones over my refusal to bend my moral stance. And the few times where I acquiesced, it turned out horribly. Moral of the story? Stay true to your inner barometer of right versus wrong. Doing the wrong thing for even right reasons is still wrong.
Thats my take anyways.

My name is MrWrong and I approved this comment

I totally agree with is I would also add the word character to it as well. I think we choose our friends on what we think and feel emotionally, and sexually. However, none is perfect including me knowing that and being able to see it helps us greatly.

We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we have only one - Confucious

Life has consequences - good - bad - indifferent. We make our own mark in this world. Living our best life can only be done when we remain true to thine own self. Happy Sunday!

Character is a great addition - thank you! I would agree, as we tend to flock towards those who are similar to us. I've never been a fan of the word "perfect" ... the expectation of such inevitably results in an epic fail. Always nice to see you ...

Thank you, my friend! Self-respect of one's self is a big thing - more people need to find theirs. Enjoy your Sunday!
