I was watching TV..a commercial came on..of course..eh?
I was watching the commercial with slightly elevated interest,
When HOLY MOLY, there was a black man...a very sexy, hot, manly black guy driving the new car in the advertisement.
I started thinking,,,
.ok..why is that different or even slightly interesting?
When was the last time you saw a man driving a new car in a commercial, that was anything other than a white guy with brown hair? For that matter..why is there never a white woman driving a new car in a commercial? Asian?..no
East Indian? No
Blond guys? No
Sophisticatedly handsome black guys? No
Hmmmm..
I just wonder why.
.I'm not trying to get militant or anything...

I sat and wrote a great post.
I promise you it was really good.
It took half an hour to write.
Then..my cat jumped on my lap..
Scared me..
My finger moved
Poof ..all gone..
Tonight she went to jump on my lap..and I had a cup of coffee..she nearly had hot paws...

I dropped my match box of marbles for my chinese checkers game...
They are antique.. from my parent's generation...
ackkk..
I did my best to pick them up...but who knows..
and I don't want to set up the board tonight...

one reason is that ole grumpy walks around all night...leaves lights on...
bangs the door shut when he lets the out and back in..
When ole grumpy one goes back home, I will try to catch up..

If it was 600 groups of men protesting about something would they succeed in bringing about change???
I am very impressed that so many people, men and women together, protested against Trump.
Will it make a difference?
Will Trump minimize the crowds and huge numbers of people involved?
He has an effect on all people worldwide.
I am waiting anxiously to find out what happens next!!
What are your thoughts?

The chinook has made the roads wet/dry/muddy/slushy... Pick one.. or all of them..
Was enjoying sitting on my front porch in bare feet and a tshirt...
The sun was warm.. The snow was reflecting so much sun in my eyes that I had to shade my eyes...

Poem about our home province.
It’s winter in Alberta
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below
Oh, how I love Alberta
When the snow’s up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So, I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Alberta

wow..
Well I guess I took a little break.
Went to the farm to clean.. as in wash walls and put stuff in containers..
I have been doing this for about 4 years... a little at a time..
I finally figured out why there were marks on the lower walls...Our beloved feline was backing up to every square inch of wall and piece of furniture, and spraying urine ... EVERYWHERE.. at first I couldn't believe it.. at all.. Then I got sick to my stomach thinking that this had been on the walls intermittently and I had just cleaned it.. over and over... This last time down to the farm, I realised what a ...
cat-tastrophe this truly was.. I had to spend two days washing the lower part of all the walls.. Read that as ALL THE WALLS... and most of the furniture..She was one busy little cat..This last time I was there she had started up again.. re-spraying where I had washed.. so that was it.. out the cat went.. we made the garage very cosy with her cat tree.. a nice bed... and the to cuddle up to...
Now the garage stinks.. but at least the house is not getting worse again..
The walls of my house are painted a very light shade of grey.. and I can see all the places where she's been...
Ewww... ewww.. and triple Ewww...
So.. Mr. Clean and I have been very busy.. I think I'm making progress now that the cat is not re-spraying everything..
Funny how the mind just doesn't want to accept something like this.. but I finally twigged.. I finally caught on ...Holy moly...
So.. I am cleaning.. and boxing up stuff as fast as I can... It can't all go to the city house...Value Village is about to be the proud owner of most of this stuff that I thought I loved at the time..If you haven't missed something in 4 years.. I think you don't need it... right???
Have you figured out you don't need something??

The weekend went well!!
There were no horrible moments..
Ok..there was one..coming from the mother of the bride.
She was pretty much difficult to deal with the entire time.
I understood everything when she gave a "speech".
Not much class or pardon me..intelligence.
The crowning moment was when she treated me like one of her many , by glaring at me and demanding what she wanted.
I am ever so grateful that it is strongly possible that I will never, ever have to see her again..I do feel very sorry for her husband.
Her husband spent a lot of time watching me and staring at me..which was pretty uncomfortable for me!!..lol
Its ok..they deserve each other...
Other than that..all went well..
I'm very glad it's all over 😊

Lots of things are not normal
For instance, it isn't normal for pics to stay on blogs here.
It isn't normal to make a post and not come back to fix it.
It's not normal to leave this site without replacing pics.
In other news
The event went very well...
Cleaning up afterwards was exhausting, made worse by snow falling and minus 23 celcius weather.
So much food left over. I have been giving neighbors, relatives and friends gifts of food.
We had a great time...enjoyed visiting with everyone, and had a generally great time.
Too bad we have to recover after having fun.
But that's normal.
