Dear Redneck in the giant black truck with the LED high beams who 'brights' me every morning....

It warms my heart, it truly does, that you can see the leg hairs on a gnat from 300 yards when you're revving your loud assed truck over the top of that hill.

It's truly fucking amazing!

The problem is, when you're 'brighting' us all on your way down that hill, we can see the inside of our skulls when we shut our eyes. It's not really going to make a difference whether or not you can see those fucking leg hairs on that gnat when you've been smashed into because nobody can see beyond those solar flares coming from the front of your pick'em-up truck, Cletus!!

Sincerely,

Secret_lade and the Crew who are unlucky enough to encounter you on the road every single morning.

Night vision glasses I got a pair years ago and use them on a regular basics . They even help with a hard rain you can see farther ahead no matter how hard it is raining .

It's bad enough when I get a car parking right outside my house at night and the lights shine right through the glass panel on my front door! No consideration.

Get a piece of cardboard about 10" x12" to hold in front of your face to block most of the light. In bold marker write FUCK YOU on the front side.

Flick your headlights to bright as he approaches and keep them bright until he passes.
I've thought about it but there's usually someone ahead of me. There are about 5 regular vehicles who travel the same road I do each morning, I'm certain they are on their way to their jobs too. I wouldn't want to get one of them offended with me, too. If and when I do find myself the leader of the pack, I certainly will!

Dumb hick probably installed the LED's all by himself and knows zero about beam alignment, which is much more important with high intensity lighting sources. He's probably running low beams, which are aimed like highs.

Reminds me of my old GTI, on which I had Euro spec lights on and stuffed the highest wattage bulbs into. Mine were properly aligned, so I wasn't unintentionally blinding other drivers. But, when I lit off the highs and driving lights, flowers bloomed as I drove by and I could see a mile ahead of the car.
It really wouldn't surprise me if this were the case.... By the sounds of things, he did his own straight pipe exhaust too. I don't know how this guy doesn't get a headache every single time he drives his truck.
