my youngest is going today to take the military test asvab, he has decided to join the national guard. In one way I am so proud of him wanting to serve his country. We did raise him to be a patriot,. On the other side it terrifies me he could get called up..
my husband, was a sailor so he has his own mixed reasons about him signing up.
My was suppose to go to Indiana state university, he was accepted into their honors program but the finances fell through. So now he has decided to pay for his college this way.. I know I have to let go but if you have any idea how many people I have lost the last few years, had to let go of, you would understand my anxiety so much better.. letting go is never easy is it ??? and it doesn't get any easier no matter how many times you have to do it....
I just have to try and stay positive about it all, and focus on the positive not just the fact he could get called up....
