sometimes to stay sane, you have to get a little crazy…
that’s an interesting statement to say the least…
I took a chance about 13 months ago, in taking a consulting job out here in Northern California with some cutting edge pharmaceutical technology… I’m glad that I did, it’s a hard life to be away from home more than you’re there, as well as, the logistics and emotional toll it takes to do it is hard to justify month after month and year after year… But at the end of the day, what I do, does make a difference, and that’s how I sleep at night… On the flip side, I get paid to visit some beautiful places and immerse myself in some wonderful history, while getting paid to do a job that I love for the last 15+ years…
I’ve learned that the news media cares about one thing and one thing only “Selling Air Time” and the “truth is always a causality” in selling that air time… We have been dealing with infectious and contagious diseases’ in this country since its inception, and we’re the best in the world at doing it… Is every hospital equipped to deal with the worst case scenarios “No” we never have been… We adapt to the situation and move forward… There are specialized hospitals that deal with certain issues, but most of them revolve around cancer, heart and trauma… We as a nation have gotten past most of the diseases the are certain death in third world countries, but we still deal with outbreaks of diseases like mumps, measles, chicken-pox, the flu and we deal with AIDs and MERSA everyday… To say that hospitals are not trained or not equipped is just plain “Bullshit” and I’m not afraid to call it
One last thing, before I get on with my day… There has been a lot of talk about ISIL or ISIS whichever you prefer… I see them in same light as the PLO… They are COWARDS that hide behind a mask to spread mayhem and fear… We as a nation faced the same cowards in our own history… We called them Outlaws and the Klan, but they were all the same, cowards who hid behind a mask and the cover of night to advance their own agenda… There will always be a bogie-man in the shadows and a bully on the corner, but it’s up to ourselves to look within and say enough is enough… That’s what makes America great, change starts with the person in the mirror and the person next to you… The only thing free in this life is self-respect, everything else you pay for in one way or the other…
Myself, I was awoken at 2:30 AM and evacuated from the hotel by an idiot who burned a bag of popcorn, hell we didn’t get evacuated last month during the earthquake… Go Figure…

I wish I could tell you she tasted like cotton candy… But the truth is, I can't remember how she tasted other than to say she tasted like lust, after mucho tequila and lunch eaten but never tasted…
Making out in the taxi, speeding to my apartment, fumbling with my keys, barely making it in the door… Clawing at each others body, for the pleasure of fucking and more fucking, but never making love… She would be honored by this memory, she was my kinda girl, not fast and not loose, but just right for the savage beast… I revel in yesterday's passion, the story wrote itself, lucky me, or maybe it was something else…

Hey man, did you see that, those poor cats are sure messed up,
I wonder what they were gettin' into, or were they just lost in the flood…
Nuns run bald through Vatican pleading immaculate conception
and everybody's wrecked on Main Street from drinking unholy blood…
Eighth Avenue sailors in satin shirts whisper in the air…
Some storefront incarnation of Maria, she's putting on me, the stare…
The Bronx's best apostle stands with his hand on his own hardware…
Everything stops, and you hear five quick shots, the cops come up for air…
Some comes blasting round the corner, but a cop puts him right away,
he lays on the street holding his leg screaming something in Spanish
still breathing, when I walked away…
And someone said “Hey Man” did you see that
his body hit the street with such a beautiful thud…
