I have know a couple of girls for awhile now from another group. We chat alot, last night they where like hey mer you should come over...
So I went on over, now mind you its storming here in Houston and I have no idea where I am going, as this is the 1st time for us all to meet.
So I head out around 7pm... I am doing great driving down one of the major.. major highways in Houston the I-10...
until I start talking on the phone, playing with the speed of the wipers, and trying to remember where I am going...
well these streets in Houston are so screwed up.... like all the exit signs are AT the exit.... being an east coast girl I really need to set this state straight about where the fuck to put their signs! I mean how the hell does that work?! Well I'll tell you it doesn't!
anyway I am driving along...

and what the fuck do I see!? the exit sign for my exit At the exit ....
so I kinda-ish turn the car that way...
kinda-ish fast and what the fuck do I see NOW
A big ass triangle stupid ass curb thingy jumping in front of me !
No where for me to go but UP over IT.
After a few BAM BAMs.. well make that 4 BAM BAMS.... and a lot of noise under the car that sounded like it hurt a hell-of-a-lot.
The car swerves to the left and in trying to avoid the ditch
(cause you see here in Texas not only are the roads screwed up... but they have these big ass ditches on each side of the roads. guess the never heard of storm drains *rolls eyes*)
I swerve the car back to the right.
(I was really lucky no other cars where around right then, but than again my mother does have a life insurance policy on me.... that should give you some kind of clue as to I am alway getting in these situations. lol oh well lucky for me, bad for her )
And come to a stop on the right shoulder, oh wait, what we back east call a shoulder, is really grass here. *sighs*
So I am sitting on the side of I-10 in a storm and in the grass. *shit...shit...shit...*
So I call Princess and Delytful and they jump in the car to come find me. BUT..... I need to tell them the street name of over pass..... that is like about 20 yards in front of me *shit...shit....shit...*
Out of the car I go... sloping thru grass and mud on the side of the highway....in the rain.. lovely right?
Now.. they are on the way to pick my wet ass up on the side of I-10, and I am calling AAA.
How crazy is this.... LMAO So up they pull like 4 minutes later .. I jump out... they jump out and all stand there like crazy people hugging on the side of the highway. *shakes head*
anyway we left the keys in the car... but Dee made me turn it off.... *what a meanie* I was really hoping it would get stolen... but than again how can you steal a car with 4 flat wheels?
Now all warm and dry we are driving to Dee's house... AAA tell's me they wont tow the car to my car fixer place
(auto shop for you that not speak blond)
cause no one is there to sign for it *shit...shit....shit....*
So we have it towed to Dee's home (thank you g/f), it took em ... well I dont how long cause we started drinking and I didn't really care at that point...
anyway WE had a Blast....
Car made it to the shop (after another tow)
4 flat tires and leaking trans. fluid and all.
Hey.... you know whats cool about this .....
I bet no one else on Senior Sizzle has ever met for the 1st time on the side of a major highway in a rain storm!
Yup, just call me..... highway mer !
Cant wait for our next girls night.... I just think I'll hire a limo... gotta be cheaper than me driving
