Is anyone active out there?

I have been as active as my schedule allows, have sent e-mails, tried to chat, but it seems like there is very little activity in the Carson Valley/Lake Tahoe area. Is it that I am still a newby and 'paying my dues', or is there very little activity in this area?

Hi,
I am wondering if there is an etiquette to be followed when using the instant messenger. For example, is it considered poor manners to send an IM to someone without first sending them a standard message first?

Hi there. I thought that a blog might be a good way to meet people and to get some of my questions answered.
I am fairly new on Senior Sizzle, and while there seems to be plenty of potential partners, I have learned that very few of them are active on IM. It also seems like those that are on IM do not want to chat with strangers (or it is just me, although I did shower today). I am polite when requesting a chat session, so I do not think I am offending anyone. I figure that these people are already busy chatting with others, and that women probably get bombarded with chat requests whenever they are listed.
I guess this is just one of the woes of being a standard member.
