Wow, it's been a crazy few years and I have to say, I just haven't had time to blog. Such is life!
I've moved up to Charlottesville VA and am loving it. Alas, it seems that it's harder to find sexually open folks here than it was in good old Atlanta. I wonder why that is? Part of the reason I'm starting my blog again is with the hope of connecting with sexy, open people. If you're local, let me know!

One of my favorite bloggers, Heidideliscious, recently posted a blog on her "type"...it's inspired me to add my own! Here are just a few to start...more to follow later.

ha! I bet you thought from my blog title that I had some crazy nookie for my birthday....HAHAHAHA! Silly, silly reader. Don't you know by know that except for precious, brief moments (well, not THAT brief!), that my love life consists of a bottle of jojoba oil (the perfect lube, I must say) and my left hand (fascinating, since I'm a righty)...but I digress...
The last year has been interesting. A move from hated, bone-chilling Massachusetts, where most of the people I knew were as cold as the weather; bought my first house...a little POS house, but mine nonetheless; about to become a dad!!!; and most importantly, after about 10 years of trying to convince myself I'm a scientist, throwing that notion to the wind and giving my arsty-fartsy side of the brain liscense to do what makes me happy. Barring the lack of harem and/or naked red-headed twins (female, please) sitting on my lap, I'm actually pretty happy.
SO, here's a checklist for the next 10 years:
1. continue to live my life unabashed and unembarrased of the person I am...most other people suck, so it's really really good to be different from them
2. watch my buisness grow into something that can actually support me financially and fills my soul..
3. watch my grow...in the next decade I need someone to be able to teach me how to program the VCR, after all...
4. finish the renovations on my lil POS house. God, if it takes 10 years...just shoot me now, please!!!
5. Finish my graduate work, be it in the form of a PhD or a cop-out Master's...because as much fun as handcuffs can be, these shackles suck!
6. Surround myself with a circle of freaky, soulful, unreserved, wonderful people. I know you're out there....come out come out wherever you are
7. Maybe get laid more than a handful times a month...is that too much to ask? Really?
8. go camping more...a part of myself that I've lost in the past few years that I need to survive...maybe even more than #7!!!
I'm sure there are other things, but these are the top on my list...here's to living (really living) another year...let's all take a moment to pause and reflect, before we continue to suck the marrow from the bones of life!!!

It's about time to catch up...it's been a crazy few weeks! Most memorably, I met an Senior Sizzle friend for a sushi date last Tuesday....
...we had been chatting for a few weeks, and FINALLY some free time in our schedules overlapped. Wow, it's been a while since I've posted. Guess that goes to show how life has been lately. The big news is that we're expecting our first ! Woo hooo!!! It's scary, wonderful, and (for her) barfy all at the same time. I can wait to be a dad, moreso because I have the luxury of being the primary caregiver. Mr Mom look out!! What this means is that the progress on my "fuck me" bathroom (see previous blogs) has been temporarily postponed to work on the nursery...I'll post pics when I'm done, for any that care .
The second half of this blog is more of my continuing rant on humanity. I'm an elitist I guess..a snob. I don't expect everyone to have a PhD level intellect, supermodel beauty, or wealth beyond compare...but I do expect that people have a hunger for life. With that hunger comes so many things...a desire to seize the day...a willingness to try new things, to grow. To me, that is what being human is about, yet so few people actually DO it. Maybe instead of being a state of mind, it's a gift, just like good looks or smarts....
While I find most people constantly dissappoint me, there are a few who I respect because they have this quality. I can usually pick these people out of a crowd at 100 paces...I think the verve they exude is as strong as any scent I've ever smelled. I've been lucky enough to meet a few of these people in my life, and it seems one very recently though Senior Sizzle, no less! Sorry to get y'all excited (see, I'm fitting right in here down South ), but there are no new pics of me. I've yet to find a good photographer down here and I'm not really willing to have mediocre pics taken of me just for the sake of updating...for those of you who see my cam show you know JUST what I look like. I hate to bitch and moan, into cyber space even more than in real life, but this is just silly! I really appreciate the comment I get during cam shows and emails that I get through Senior Sizzle complimenting me, but there's a huge disjoint between those comments onnile and the interactions I have with people in the real world.
I'm pretty sure it's not me...I'm friendly and outgoing...hell, I'm downright flirty most of the time! I rarely get a smile out of people though, let alone some fun flirty banter or body language. We all know scheduling is a bitch...life get's busy right? But what about our natural biological clocks? I have to say, I'm definately NOT for the night life. If I'm up past 10 PM, it's a late night for me. I can function after that, but in general my body is just sleep walking. This makes late night bouts of sex (which most people seem to prefer) not particularly interesting to me. Now, 7 AM (and maybe again at 10 AM...then again at 2 PM)...I'm good to go! While this fits into my crazy schedule...not exactly ideal for most people...
So, are you an early bird or a night owl? Does the thought of getting laid before 7 am make you want to hide under the blankets...or do you think it's the perfect way to start the day? What's your ideal sex schedule (and how often does it actually happen that way????)? -B
