I Know sometimes you need to be skeptical about the media but if this is true its appalling how these women are treated.
I was reading an article in the Times newspaper Monday, how thousands upon thousands of women and girls are being used and bought as sex slaves particularly those in Syria and Iraq and those from minority groups such as the from the religious minority group Yazidi.
These women are suffering and encountering degradation and non consensual sex, sorry I cannot use the R word on this site and treated inhumanely. and this is considered o.k
Women and girls cannot be treated like this. women around the world need to stand up for each other and also speak out and do something about this. by also supporting each other from whatever background, socially, culturally and religious. something needs to be done.

My brooks saddle

Once again I,ve had my brooks saddle stolen, they even cut through the cable where it was attached. I was going to go to Sclater street Brick lane where they seem to blatantly sell stolen bicycles and stolen parts in the car park on a Sunday.
Whats so frustrating is that the people, who are usually men who do this are so upfront and blaze about this. and the police or Tower Hamlets council don't seem to do anything about this.
But where is the distinction? I read in the metro newspaper on Tuesday 9th December that The cross party parliamentary report was launched as it emerged peers had refused to cut their catering budget, fearing that they'd would have to drink cheaper champagne. ( it reminds of George Orwell's Animal farm when the other farm Animals are working so hard and starving the pigs who are in charge of the farm are living the high life.)
This is happening when people have to go to food banks in this country because they cannot afford to buy food, or that the u.k is one of the highest countries for poverty in western Europe.
However when you do cycle on the streets in London the drivers seem reckless and careless in their driving as they do not seem to give a damn about knocking someone of their bike, even to the extent of picking up speed and going head on towards you and not even bothering to try and slow down. It seems as if they want to harm you or couldn't careless attitude. some people don't seem to care in London now and its getting worse, its scary. Not suprisingly it has the worst driving in the U.K. They should be made to go to intensive care and see the damage they do if that person is luckily enough to survive.

Why being called Gay is considered such a dirty word.

Just recently I read that the singer Lois Tomlinson from the one direction was ranting and swearing at a journalist from the Independant newspaper for wearing a T shirt that was considered Gay( the Apple slogan in rainbow colours) he was swearing, ranting and saying that he was not Fu**ing Gay (making out that being called Gay was so negative).
This led to the Editor of the newspaper receiving death threats from One direction fans.
I ve just been to the pictures to see the film 'The imitation Game' about the Enigma code breaker Alan Turing which is very good, he was outed as Homosexual which was then considered a criminal offence, also he has just recently been pardoned by the Queen in 2013. This man saved over 14 million lives by breaking the enigma code and he committed suicide at 41 for being prosecuted for being Homosexual.

Why in the 21st century is being Gay considered inferior and offensive still. and if the one direction fans want to threaten me so be it, I will always stand up for Gay rights.

Opera

Last night I went o the Opera at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Which I nearly missed due to the traffic. I got off the red routemaster bus at Piccadilly circus and ran through Leicester Square, toward Covent garden in a full length sequined silver gun metal backless dress ( which you cannot wear underwear for, luckily I have small boobs) with Biker boots, which I nearly tripped up on.
Getting back to the point the Opera I was seeing was Glare a combined Danish/German opera sung in English and in the opera which is unheard of for me, the female opera singer told the male opera singer to Fu*k Off. Some of the audience laughed but i don't know if it was out of embarrassment or funny I think the latter, though others in the audience were not amused.

I,m sure I saw Kate Moss today shopping in Morrisons Chalk farm,( Morrisons is a fairly cheap less expensive supermarket chain in the U.K) I suppose you can take the Kate out of Croyden but you cannot take the Croyden out of Kate. Which I like its good to stay grounded.

I went to the Ballet last night in Covent garden London it was the Royal Ballet performing Manon. Now I,m not really a big fan of Ballet and for those Ballet snobs it was not the usual Russian Ballerina playing this night but a lesser known couple from Australia and Brazil.
It was amazing the set and music were very good and all the Dancers and it was also very moving and sad. But what amazed me most was the male ballet dancer at one moment he danced across the stage like a Tornado twisting and turning very fast i,ve never seen anything like it before. it was a cheapish seat also though I was up in the Gods or is it up with the Gods.

A local independent record shop at my parents a market town in the North East of England was having a live concert by Charlie Simpson. I frequently go to this record shop a lot and have bought a lot of Vinyl old and new.
When I asked if I could come along the owner who I thought was o.k, and alright said no, there was no room. I felt that he thought of me as an embarrassment, which also hurt me and made me feel rejected, awkward and inferior and that I would cramp his and the shops style.
I have had similar situations previously and there is no doubt it will likely happen in the future, but I remind myself there are those people who are o.k and have accepted me, and that have made me feel that I belong to, not disapprove of but be a part of.

Life is a bit like a Snow Globe? it,s settled at first and when you shake it a storm whirls up inside, it eventually settles again, until the next storm which then eventually settles until the next storm and so on and so on.

A contrast of people.

I,ve come to realise there is a contrast of behaviours people have around me as some are nice and kind and others dam right rude and nasty. I suppose its a little like Marmite some hate you and some love or like you.
Also the people who you expect are going to be abrupt and stand offish with you are not. Such as on record store day back in April Edwyn Collins was playing outside Rough Trade in Ladbroke grove, and this man has been through a lot had two subarachnoid haemorrhages which had left him with a weakness in his right arm and he also caught MRSA when being hospitalised. I went up and asked him if I could take his photo, me half expecting him to say no, but he said yes and he was really nice, and I did not feel that he disliked or felt any discrimination towards me.
Yet when I go to Waitrose the Asian girl on the customer service counter was very rude toward s me for no reason and her behaviour toward others previous to serving me, was fine as she was laughing and joking with them. the same happened when I went to get my bicycle registered in Hyde park the British policeman was also abrupt and cold with me yet the Asian Policeman in Regents park was really nice and helpful.
Ive also found that a quite famous Graffiti artist was also very nice and kind towards me.
I,ve come to the conclusion there is good and bad everywhere, and you have to just remember the kind and nice people you come across in your life, compensate for the rather not so nice, abrupt, prejudiced and rude people.

What a week I,ve had

What a disaster of a week I,ve had, and probably people have had a lot worse. It began last Friday when I was cycling in the city and a waste truck was parked on the road in the cycle lane on double yellow lines. so I got off my bike and went around the truck on the pavement. As soon as I got back on my cycle a thud hit me, as the truck went into me. It really hurt and I felt sick. The driver came out and apologised he was quite nice to me, but because I was in such a shock I did not take any details as I thought I may be o.k, I think I am though I,m still sore and in pain. I think if he was nasty to me and dismissed it I may have done something about it. Secondly I met a guy on this site and he walked out on me making his excuses, which is embarrassing for me but when you think about it there may be a number of reasons besides me looking ugly and feeling rejected. but I picked myself up and watched Jamie private school girl on BBC I player. or should I say Ja'mie private school girl the apostrophe makes it a little different and exclusive. and no this is not porn, its an Australian comedy drama, that's so funny and made me laugh and giggle to myself and sometimes out loud, which helped me get over the situation.
I don't know if it,s me but people in London seems to be getting less tolerant, and discriminative towards those who are Gay Lesbian or Transgendered, and I,m not sure why this is? I know at the moment we seem to be getting it from all sides, such as from Christians, Muslims, Catholics, Far Right groups, Ugandans, Russians, and From music, you name it. Luckily not all have this view. but it,s like being back in the seventies if not worse. When I go out now I get some awful remarks from complete strangers. I don't know whats up with them. But to cheer myself up I went to a cabaret and disco in Camden town hall where they played a lot of 80's music, and funnily enough Jeff Wayne's War of the worlds which I haven't heard for ages, came on, it may seem a strange compilation but it did fit in well, with the Smiths, Cure, Eurythmics, The Pointer Sisters, and Earth wind and fire etc.

King Lear.

I managed to get a reduced ticket for King Lear at the last moment at the National theatre. What I like about the National it is a little snobbish but its more accessible and it does let us poorer and lets say less affluent near or is it mear mortals get to see a play. There is such a contrast with the theatre goers. The national crowd are real die hard theatre goers, you could hear there conversations in the foyer, for example Regan was not what I expected etc, and waiting for a ticket for Coriolanus and Richard the 2nd, which I hasten to say did not get, are either fans of Doctor who (David Tennant) or Tom Hiddleston (Thor, Warhorse etc). But Here at King lear it was either a very serious crowd that Sometimes sounded snobbish, theatre goers, or A level Students.
Not screaming girls, or some what die hard OTT Doctor Who fans. I know they look at me that I,m a little strange because how I look, and because I was born male, but some people can seem a little obsessive. I like the National Theatre though I first went to it in the 80s to see George Orwells Animal farm, Which I loved so much. King Lear was very good, though a little gruesome especially the gouging out of the eyes part. and the guy who played Edgar Tom Brooke was very good also. They were all a very good cast. P.S my grammer is getting worse.
