Inclusive or Exclusive?

The people on these siteS are in effect a grouping of people based on a variety of sexual interests. I use the term siteS specifically, and often, because some people here are not aware that what they are seeing is a single database comprised of many different site names (hundreds) and groups such as: religions, nationalities, ethnicities, sexual preferences, likes and dislikes, among a slew of other possibilities.

So we all know what these 2 adjectives mean . . .
“Exclusive” means “either this or that, but not both.
“Inclusive” means “either this, or that, or both.”
Further . . .

Inclusive involves the full and successful integration of diverse people into a place or group. Additionally, inclusive groups extend beyond basic or token presence of different people.

Exclusive restricts, limits or rejects people, or groups of people.

So . . . if a group is exclusive who does the group exclude and for what reason(s)? Then, once that is decided . . . do we exclude those who like, but are not part of, group A or B or C or all of them? Remember someone in an excluded group may be someone we like or may even meet or . . . more. Maybe they are the elusive “one” – but you’ll not meet them because they were – excluded. That’s all pretty complicated and it doesn’t even address . . . unknown and/or unintended consequences.

Oh, and who makes the decision to exclude what group(s) of people?

Me, I really a pretty simple person. With being inclusive none of those decisions have to be made. You just log into the site a do what you want to do and ignore those who you aren’t interested in – pretty simple. There is an advantage in being inclusive. For me, as a guy, I get to appreciate and experience all kinds of different women because none of them have been excluded. Also, since no one is excluded there may be more women and more women afford me, and other guys, more opportunities to meet and have . . . sex.

So what say you do you prefer the site be Inclusive or Exclusive? If exclusive who would you exclude and why?

It’s Only Rock And Roll But . . .

But . . . before I get to the point of this post . . .
I a product of the 50s, the mid 50s to be more specific. As such I have seen a great deal of fairly amazing (good and bad) things happen in the world. The Kennedy assignation (I recall it was a very sad day / week), the first man on the Moon (I watched on TV), Vietnam (I protested in high school), the sexual revolution (still working on this one) , the jet age (but I love piston driven engines), Nixon / Watergate, and many, many more. Another product of the mid 50s is Rock and Roll.

My first clear recollection of music other than what my parents listened to (Sinatra, Como, and Martin – which I like) was The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. My dad was not fond of what he heard or saw. I think Elvis was about as “far out” as he could go. Me, I got myself a transistor radio and listened all the time and went through a lot of those rectangular batteries. When my dad started driving some neighborhood and me to school he got a half hour dose of rock. I recall when Tommie Roe came out with “Dizzy” my dad would say “That damn song is making me dizzy”.

“Growing up” in Los Angeles I was close to some fairly famous clubs (The Troubadour, Whiskey A Go-Go, Gazzarri"s) where some well known bands (Eagles, Linda Ronstadt) got their starts. It was also where “Surf” and “Hot Rod” music got rolling – the Beach Boys, The Surfaris (Wipeout), and Jan and Dean. J & D went to the same high school I did and I lived near and drove through “Dead Man’s Curve” (Sunset Blvd just west of N. Whittier Drive) on a regular basis. I got my first speeding ticket not very far from there. Rock has been the soundtrack playing while I did a lot of things for the first time and when I did some of them many other times.

“So RedRock, why are you telling us this?” Good question whoever asked that. Because the nominations for the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame came out today. You, yes you, can vote for 5 of them to be inducted into the HoF.

The first 5 are who I voted for, the rest are meh IMO. Who would you vote for? And feel free to throw in why if you’re so inclined.

Def Leppard
Rufus featuring Chaka Khan
Stevie Nicks (I loves me some Stevie)
The Zombies
Todd Rundgren

Devo
Janet Jackson
John Prine
Kraftwerk
LL Cool J
MC5
Radiohead
Rage Against the Machine
Roxy Music
The Cure
