I'm seeking lost friends...
In this day of instant connections it's hard to believe...but I've lost touch with some dear friends. And now my dilemma is how do we reconnect? When the common ground is a website such as this, it can be challenging to keep in touch. Personally I never want to cause trouble.....so just "checking in" could be intrusive. Even if I really just want to say hey, how are ya? But people move on, maybe a text from an old "lifestyle" friend wouldn't be welcome.
For those friends I've lost track of, I hope all is well in your world. xo

What is there not to love about a lazy Sunday afternoon?
Until I worked Monday to Friday I didn't understand how precious weekends could be. Now I jealously guard my Saturdays and Sundays. Yes, there's the laundry and the housework and the chores that get avoided all week. But there's also sleeping in and lazy breakfasts and second (and third) cups of coffee. There's the sweet surprise of a mid-morning fuck and the slightly guilty afternoon of ignoring the dust in the living room. Late nights, BBQ'ing with friends and just enjoying each other. It's what keeps us going all week, and really what makes life worth living.
Hope you all get replenished in whatever way works for you....

Oh dear....I am on my own tonight....so watching whatever I want on TV. lol....
And lo and behold....Kate and Leopold is on....have you seen it? What a totally sweet sappy rom-com. But am I showing my age when I find it charming? Do young women today want to be swept off their feet by a Prince Charming like in this movie?

Life gets busy...
Sometimes life gets in the way...in the way of having fun, at least as far as "the lifestyle" goes!
If only we could just jump when opportunity strikes.
But if you're like most people, (most couples anyway!) we need to 1) get the time off, 2) get a sitter, 3) make sure your spouse has the time off, 4) make sure everyone's in the mood, 5) make sure all those things work out for the other party!
Is it any wonder that people say it's hard to meet people??? lol

Someone recently blogged about masks. It struck a chord with me as I feel I am always wearing a mask on here. I am, for the most part, a very open person, and also a very trusting person. But due to the nature of this site, I prefer to keep a lot of things about myself private. And I am very slow to trust that people are who they represent themselves to be. It makes for internal conflicts; I do want to make friends (not solely friends with benefits), and you can only be evasive for so long. Plus it just doesn't come naturally to me to be coy.
All part of the challenges of living the "lifestyle" in a small town!

We had such a fabulous time at RU this year, but I'm finding it hard to get back to the real world. This has been the longest week at work ever, even if it was only 4 days. I couldn't concentrate. I just wanted to be back at the camp site with a drink in my hand, minimal clothes on my body and so many possibilities to have fun.
The plus side has been I can't keep my hands off my husband. I've been incredibly horny all week and it doesn't seem to be letting up. Definite bonus 
I guess that's a hint to any of my friends out there....this might be a great week for a playdate  ....

Love, love, love lazy Saturdays like today. Slept in, had a nice breaky, and then a long, leisurely fuck. My absolute favourite way to spend a Saturday. Hope Sunday turns out just the same!

I decided to update my friends list today. It begins to take on a life of its own, sorta like Facebook. But as I looked through my list I realized there were people there that I had either chatted with briefly, lost touch, or never really connected with in the first place. So click and they were gone.
As I looked through that list I could almost see the evolution of our "lifestyle" experience. I hesitate to call it that as I am not sure we fit that definition. But whatever, I can see how what attracts us has changed just by reviewing that list. I am amazed at the way our adventures have shaped us and how each experience builds a base for the next. Each time we had a positive encounter it increased our confidence. Likewise, the negatives slowed us down.
I not only ended up with a tidied up friends list, I had a lovely trip down memory lane. I like where we are now and we are having a blast. Isn't that what it's all about?

I'm browsing profiles....ok, ok, some would call it perving.....and I see a cute guy. Hmmm....warrants a second look. Pretty bare profile but still, great smile. Then I see that his last visit here was in 2011 
Seriously....4 years ago?? That is insane. And you know where his pic popped up? On our homepage when I set it to "Members near us". Obviously I am not going anywhere, but really Senior Sizzle, it's time to smarten the fuck up. No wonder people get annoyed with this site. Give us a fighting chance. I definitely would rather view people I have a hope in hell of meeting, but I think if someone hasn't been here in 4 years that takes them out of the equation.

How bizarre this site is. Lately we're getting views/flirts/hotlists from all over the world. This seems to happen randomly; maybe every 3-4 months? While I certainly enjoy having a worldly view of things, I don't think the guys from Germany and Norway who have flirted lately are going to show me a good time. Ah well, I'll just enjoy the attention lol.

I'm a nice person...or I try to be. So when a stranger pops up in chat and says "Hi" in private...I say "Hi" back. It's only polite. I have met some nice people that way. Many times the conversation deteriorates from there....but at least I have been courteous.
But what I find happens all too often is.....nothing. No intelligent conversation, no crude remarks, no perverted suggestions, just....nothing. It's like they dropped off the edge of the world. Oh, I see their handle still in the chat room list, so I know they're still there. But apparently they don't have the minutest amount of manners to continue a conversation. I'm left wondering...wtf?? Why do they even bother? I truly don't get it.
So don't be a disappearing pvt. It's rude, annoying and pretty well guarantees that you won't even get a "Hi" back the next time.

So hubby and I were having a slightly boozy conversation recently, and we were discussing how much sex is actually worth.
