An open bottle of Lite in the middle of the table, Smell the grill fired up and getting hot, the grill master bragging up his meat. I hear the king of the horseshoe pit as he clams another victory, the splashing in the water, "Don't break your sister" I yell. A day filled with fun, food and friends. The storms have held off again as they have every year keeping the temperature just right. As the day comes to an end, the foods gone and the coolers are empty and time to go home, we gather around the table. The one the Lite was opened for never showed up and hasn't since 2004. We pass the bottle, each taking a drink. Goodbye my friend, you and those who have gone before and after are not forgotten.

As we come to the end of another year, I debate on whether to stick around. It's not that I don't like reading the blogs and perving pics, It's more that I lack a reason to. I've not been in the best of moods lately and not being able to achieve and maintain an erection is not helping. I guess its true what they say " Use it or lose it " . I wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Been a fun filled couple of weeks. I took a much needed break from work a couple of weekends ago and after driving through a torrential rain storm, spending 2 days with in-laws and driving back through another torrent of rain, I find out they moved a closing date on a house...... Oh Joy. At least this weekend was enjoyable  I did have a good time with my granddaughters birthdays, a one year and a ten year. Then while preparing for the BBQ on Sunday I find a pile of limbs by my deck, as I look up I see a branch on the 20k new roof I got from the last tree that fell on it and resting on my power line......Fun times all around. I braced it up, cooked and enjoyed the rest of the day. I removed the branch yesterday and was happy to see I only have to replace a couple of shingles. I'm glad I don't have to call the insurance company because according to them I'm not insured for wind, WTF, I live in Kansas, the wind blows all the time, when asked if the wind always blows this way out here, the response is No sometimes it blows the other way. It been real tough to be my normal chipper self lately.. I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Labor day weekend.

I'm sure this is not the first time this has come up and I'm sure it won't be the last. How does one pic a nickname. I have many and all have been given to me by others, these are what I use on various sited. Some I haven't heard for along time, Freight train, cousin, grizzly, to name a few. Mostly I'm called Daddy or mean old bastard, depending on where I am and who's there. There's nothing like a little hottie calling you daddy to make you feel like a real pervert. MOB is my preferred name but most of the guy call my name followed by you old bastard, odd since some of them are my age or older. I use MOB on another site, but one very special lady told me to change it because I was far from mean, she never saw me on a bad day. So when I joined here I decided to go with OB. Now the question of how others decide on a name? Some are kind of obvious and other explained in her blog. Just being a curious old bastard.

Nope not drugs or alcohol, wish it was sex. I've have developed an addiction to the blogs. This coming from a guy that doesn't like to read. I'm one of those guys that will put something together then tear it apart because I missed something in the first few steps, give me pictures. But reading the blogs are different, from the happy, sad and the WTF, I find myself reading, I still prefer the ones with pics, but I'm getting use to it.

I thought I would do a bit about me, It's going to be tough to keep this from being a rant or poor me. First off, I'm a simple man that dosn't take much to make me happy and it takes a lot to piss me off. I avoid conflict, mostly because it's a waist of time and energy, in my youth I've walked away from many fights, jobs, relationships and few I should have walked away from. Two thing I will not discuss is politics and religion, we can agree to disagree and the gods don't like it when I argue.
Second, Yes I am married, which I know takes me off of most shopping lists and limits my free time on others, but since I've gone without sex for so long it dosn't seem to matter, I'll stop there before I get into the poor me. Which brings me to the matter of whether I have ED or just tired of masterbating. I'm not saying I can't get it up, just takes a lot to get it. I enjoy watching all different types of porn, pro and amateur and some fetish. I don't like pain, forced or anything with pissing and shitting, never could understand those. I consider myself Bi even though my only bi experience was a cousin who gave me what I consider the best blowjob I've ever had, my first wife did come a close second. Fathers Day

The song "Cats in the Cradle" is much the tale of me and my father. He worked all the time, even when he was at home. I don't blame him for that, his father died when he was young and in his day he had no choice but to work. He did however teach me allot, how to build something from nothing, maintain your auto and I don't know of many in the city that grew up with a Blacksmith forge in their backyards, but he did miss things that where important to me, concerts, sporting events and so on. I'm sad to say that he passed on most of the traits I have and it took me losing everything to realize that I wasn't the father I should have been, taking time off to spend to spend it with my , being a dad and I have apologized to them for that. The cycle has been broken. My wife I have now gets upset that they don't visit often, but I tell her its fine, they are doing what they need to do, spending time with their and watching them grow, maybe I did teach them something.
So all the young fathers out their I say to you, Take the time, enjoy every moment and feed their soul as well as their bodies.

I thought I might give this blogging thing a try. Not sure what I'll put in it or do much of it, but what the heck. I could blog about the lie when I first saw the add "Join today, Get laid tonight" (heard that line when I was shopping for a Harley) or complain about my loveless marriage, 3 yr sex drought, life sucks and the wife don't, "Quick someone call me a whaaambalance....... yes auto correct I know its not a recognized word, so stop underlining my work. Anyway, I read a lot of blogs, I don't comment on allot but do read and on occasion something will pop up and other times a thought will come to mind, now I have a place to put those thoughts. Guess we will see what the future brings.
