Delta Tau

Meaning " change i n time "

30 o r more years ago, a British company invented a digital signal processor that is responsible for some o f the greatest music that has ever been made. As an audio engineer... she was one o f the most fun toys I've been allowed t o play with.

Years. Decades later, digital affords a completely different approach t o " how it's done " -- but I digress, forgive me.

I contracted the COVID-version 2 ( which I believe is called " delta " ) a couple o f weeks ago. I was dilerious with fever, which caused all kinds o f mental issues.

I remembered a boatload o f childhood memories that I had somehow forgotten.
They are captured on paper, but I wanted t o share just a few here, if nobody minds.

But first, I gotta say, in the past few days o n this particular site, I've been called a fake and told that I a m " full o f i t" -- neither o f which has a hint o f truth.

Anyway, a s a , I played baseball. I was a catcher. Possibly one o f the most difficult positions because he's involved i n every single pitch. Later I became a pitcher, but I like catching the most. He's the only defensive guy that i s looking a t the field from the batter's point-o f-view.

Blurs occurs. Then I was o n Dave Matthews' stage, testing antennae. Proving " coverage " and "range ". 80,000 seats i n a stadium. Everything worked properly and the catering was phenomenal.

Then lastly, m y was born. The most amazing thing I have ever seen. He's almost 30 now -- a successful marine biologist.

All these things are true. Why would I lie?

A s a n example, I include a photo that I rarely share.

    Quoting  :

I'm pretty sure I'll be alright. It seemed like it would never end : )

Couldn't determine dreams from reality. Couldn't stand up.
No help. I'm all alone.
Kinda scary.
Not afraid to die -- but ready for it.

I have a roommate of sorts... he says I was singing in my sleep.
Actually not the first time I've been accused of such things : )

I spent all day reading your ( and others' ) stuff. Took me hours.

But... I'm cooking dinner just now so I can't be all bad. A modified version of jambalaya. Reading, watching, wondering. Feels like me. Still achy. No longer sick, however.

I care that you care, love. Thank you.

My thoughts on other people's opinions is that they should mind their own business. It usually stems from the fact that their lives are so uninteresting they can't believe someone else may have had a life. You have nothing to prove to anyone. Stay true to you and ignore the haters. Glad you're feeling better

A close, but now deceased, friend -- Larry, took that shot.

He always wanted to be a soundguy... but only ended up taking pictures of us.
Not a bad fate.
We took him everywhere.
I'd almost switch places. Much less pressure : )

He photographed me smoking a joint with Jerry Garcia.
He caught me with Sarah McLachlan during Lilith.
And with Jane's Addiction at the first Lollapalooza.

Thank you for your comment. Friend me?

Thank you darlin'. Hope you are okay, too.
