It will be 4 months on the 26th of this month since i had my surgery to remove the thymoma and im doing ok except for some expected pain here and there since the sternum is still healing and i did some things as far as lifting after my surgery because of were i was living after the surgery and didnt have any help but other than that im able to do normal things now and my lover and I are doing well and we have found a apartment together he will be moved in soon. we mainly were looking for a apartment to be able to get me out of the DV shelter before my time ran out there and i had no where to go. So yay im out of there and in an apartment and my lover will be here in the apartment perminatly with me soon after he takes care of a few thing he needs to do such as pack ect. lol.

Half in for Surgery

Yesterday, just before one, my girlfriend went into surgery to remove a thymoma. Everything went well, and she is now on the mend, although in a great deal of pain while her chest heals. For those who do not know, a thymoma is a type of tumor in the upper chest that is formed from the tissue of the thymus gland. After puberty, this gland (responsible for the creation of the "killer T" white blood cells) is supposed to die and dissaper. However, if it does not it can become a tumor and sometimes a cancerous one at that (known as thymic carcenoma). Her doctors were able to remove it all, and expect her to make a full recovery.

I the girlfriend am kinda disappointed because i didn't get picked as one of the top 10 in the Halloween Costume contest. Oh well i guess i wasn't good enough but maybe next year or another contest.
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I really hope to be able to be with my man over my thanksgiving break but we wont know until it gets closer to that time. Congrats to those who did make it to the top 10 in the contest and to all who didn't but had great costumes.
