DO NOT SEND VIRTUAL GIFTS! Why? Well Senior Sizzle wants to take 90% of the points. For what reason? Who tha fuck knows. I will be vulgar as hell in this blog post because they are trying to play me for dumb and I HATE to have my intelligence insulted.
Background: Last night I was gifted virtual gifts that total 69,500 points. The sender was notified that the he sent that total amount as points (each gift: 50,000...2,000...7,500...10,000). On my end however, it says that the total comes to 6,950. I essentially only received 10% of the points.
After work I called customer service. Long story short, I was advised that the recipient of a virtual gift will only get 10%. I called bullshit. ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE ON THIS FUCKING SITE DOES IT SAY THAT IN REGARDS TO VIRTUAL GIFTS!!!!! I took a screen shot of every single place that mentions virtual gifts and low and behold....NOTHING BACKS THIS UP! 30 minutes later, I was advised that a Supervisor was unavailable, and one would have to call me back.
I will give Senior Sizzle this, less than 25 minutes later, I received that call back. The supervisor had the audacity to tell me the same fucking info the customer service rep did. I flat out told him it was bullshit. I said that if this were in fact their policy, they would list that plainly in regards to Virtual Gifts (check the FAQs...it's not there). Furthermore, they shouldn't mislead the sender of the gifts into believing that they have gifted X amount of points. I refused his answer and told him to try again. He said he'd call back.
Third call so far: Same supervisor called back and was attempting to direct me to the section that explains how a user can earn 10% of their top fan bids by responding to messages/or emailing the top fans. I'm thinking to myself, "ARE YOU FUCK.ING. KIDDING ME?!?!?! I said to him that one has nothing to do with the other. If they wanted it to, they should have included the words "Virtual Gifts" in the verbiage. I also advised him that it really doesn't apply to me because I am unable to receive top fan bids as I have not yet been on the site for 72 hours. (The really fucked up thing about this is that I would have received full value from a top bid AND earned 10% of it by messaging my gifter.) I advised the supervisor that on paper, his explanation would not hold up in a court of law. I warned him to cease insulting my intelligence and come up with a resolution that satisfies me....because it's fucking fair.
I firmly believe this is something they have been hoping nobody complains about. IT'S FUCKING THEFT!!!! The person gifting my the points stopped because I alerted them to the discrepancy. The purpose was so that I could redeem the points for cash....$200 turned in to $20? GET THE ENTIRE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!!!!
