Hello people, I trust you're all doing well and are healthy! I've been quite busy recently, but doing well.

I wanted to pop in real quick to promote my newly (pretty much as finished as it'll ever get) created website. I'm not exactly sure how A*F*F treats the mentioning of other websites but I'm certain they don't like it so I'll have to be very very sly about this so PAY ATTENTION LOL!!

First, a little history and backstory...

Disc golf, also known as Frisbee golf to the majority of the non-playing public, has been around for quite some time now and it's growing bigger, better and stronger every year. When I signed up to become a member of the PDGA (Professional Disc Golfers Association) back in Dec. of 2005 the number issued to me was 29046. They're now into the 80,000s.

Disc golf can be just as frustrating as ball golf and also just as much fun, I have been addicted to it since moving to Vegas and I doubt I'll every stop being involved in one way or another. It IS, however, quite a bit cheaper than ball golf: Discs cost anywhere from 10 to 20 dollars, disc bags range in size as well as price...anywhere from 20 to 80 dollars and there are plenty of accessories and carts available not to mention all the clothing items. Most courses are free to play and the ones that charge are pretty reasonable, no more than 10 dollars...usually to cover cost of maintenance.

For the most part every major city has one or more local clubs, there are tournaments happening everywhere on EVERY weekend in just about EVERY country on the planet. Our club here in Vegas has over 250 members and we host 2 major tournaments every year along with several smaller one day tournaments, usually fundraisers for local charities. There are also regular monthly events and casual play every day.

Some of you have most likely seen or walked through a disc golf course...have you ever seen one of these?...

That is a disc golf basket, the equivalent to the hole in ball golf. The object is to get your disc into the basket in the fewest throws. Sounds simple huh? By the way, that disc on the ground next to the post is my drive on a 280 foot hole at a course in Wisconsin

We have many different types of discs, their flight is based on their design. There are "driver" discs, for distance (duh), mid-range discs, shorter approach discs and putters. Our putters are the closest thing to a Frisbee. The discs we use are actually nothing like a Frisbee and you certainly don't want to catch one...they have been known to cut people right open and they really hurt. Some of the top pros can throw a disc over 500 feet, the distance record is 863 feet.

Back in 2007 I was motivated by something I saw and eventually created a MINI version of the BASKET and ended up making them for TROPHIES. Well, I've made so many of them I finally got around to building my own website in hopes of making some good money selling them for trophies or gifts.

If you would like to see more about what I do just use the 3 BIG clues together and in that order and add the dot com to the end and you'll get to see my website. I would also kindly ask you to pass the word along to those you know...REGARDLESS if they play or not...and ask them to also pass the word along because eventually somewhere along the line someone who plays will get the word. I am taking advantage of "word of mouth" advertising and kindly thank you for your gracious assistance.

Here are a few select shots from courses I have played around the country while driving the truck....

Not all courses are tightly filled with trees, but the better ones are! Some courses like our main course here in Vegas, Sunset Park, are flat and pretty open. Regardless of the course, disc golf is fun and challenging and you get to meet a lot of cool people!

When I was 16 or 17 I bought 2 tickets to a concert, my first concert…of a great many Well, it wasn’t a band concert but it was at a venue with a stage, lights and a lot of audience. I asked my uncle to go with me because he had wheels and I didn’t, LOL! But he was cool and I knew we would have fun so I wasn’t worried about it

I told him on the way I was going to go as long as I could without laughing…we were seeing a major comedian playing at San Diego State University Open Aire Amphitheater. Uh, yeah…that lasted about 5 seconds Like subsequent comic shows I missed about half of the material because I was busting a gut open

I followed his career from stand-up through television and the big screen. There were only a few of his movies I did not care for but for the majority of his work I was a big fan. No matter his role, his performance was quality. Always a professional, giving and caring, putting 100% into his efforts. Quite the versatile performer indeed.

I will never forget being at the T/A truck stop in Earle Arkansas, parked and done for the day. Having finished my shower I ventured into the restaurant for some delectable edibles. As I entered I was sidetracked by the attention to the news story on the TV so I stopped and began to also pay attention.

I was dumbfounded. Beside myself. Drawn aback. Awestruck. Numb If not for the environment I would have most likely broke down and cried, as it was it was difficult to hold it back. After about a half hour I realized I needed to eat but really didn’t feel hungry or even feel like eating, with a somber attitude I got some food and headed back out to my truck.

As I ate and even after finishing I tried to distract myself from the news story but I found myself remembering comedy bits as well as scenes from movies and TV. Extremely difficult to not smile or laugh remembering some of his better material.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask that you take some time today, the 11th day of August, and watch a movie or maybe listen to one of his live stand-up performances and laugh and enjoy! Spread the word to your family and friends so that everyone can take the opportunity to enjoy one of the great works by Mr. Robin Williams.

Sorry this is a “read only“, but I just wanted to pop in real quick and make this post. The illustration below is an original drawing by a good friend of mine, she has her own website and does a lot of great charity work with her art.

Tomorrow my gold membership expires, I will not renew. I am willing to bet my nuts that within a couple days I will get some hot woman trying to get my attention Good luck with that

In an unrelated story...

I will not be around as much as I have been. Might poke my head in from time to time or maybe post something but I have several projects in which I need to devote my attention

I would like to send a gracious THANK YOU to all those who have allowed me the courtesy of the sharing of ideas and opinions, this includes participation on both sides of this coin we call blogland

I wish you all good times, good luck and nothing but fun in your days forward; continue to spread the word, practice and set fine examples of The Golden Rule

BEFORE I get started I have to say....you lazy fucks!! I get anywhere from 300-500 views per blog in a week and yet only 20-30 votes on a poll?? WTF!!! If you're going to come in and check it out all you have to do is click a button, how hard can that be?? Don't be afraid

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...

After our round of disc golf this morning I was sitting around talking about this and that with one of the other guys and we talked a bit about abilities and the degree at which we excel

Given the opportunity to choose...patience young grasshopper, your chance to choose will be very soon ....would you rather be someone like me in that....okay, maybe not exactly like me ...in that you are quite talented at quite a few things and even a little better at a few more...there isn't much you cannot handle or learn to handle. BUT, there is nothing at which you are extremely gifted

-OR-

Be someone like my friend who is EXTREMELY gifted at a couple of things, a complete wizard, but totally inept at pretty much everything else....except basic things like bathing, eating, breathing

Please discuss your thoughts at length with the rest of the class

At least once a day I see this cat in the window....right at the top of the walkway of the staircase. Very beautiful cat she is, too For some reason she usually get's excited when she sees me walk by...gets up and follows me down the window sill

This morning, on may way out to my truck, she was sitting there with a toy in her mouth. OMG...please don't move!!! Scrambling to get my camera out then trying to find a good angle with the least glare/reflection. Not perfect but she didn't move for me

In my waking stupor this morning I turned on the local news...as I usually do. The first commercial break happened within a minute and one of those commercials was for a daytime "talk" show. Oh joy

As I said, I was still in limbo from my sleep but I swear I heard Dr. Ruth's voice saying "Women need to take responsibility for their own sexual satisfaction."

As that statement sank in I began to think about it...take note people, a rare moment - me thinking Men do not have ESP, a crystal ball etc. so it makes sense that women should be responsible for ensuring they communicate to their partners what they want to have done so they can get to that state of ultimate satisfaction

Yes? Or are men supposed to already know what to do with our women? But....but....women are constantly changing their minds, the same thing never works twice, their moods change etc. etc. etc.

SOUND OFF blogville!!!

DO women need to take responsibility for their sexual satisfaction?
YES
NO

Curious....

Would you like someone to walk up and kick you in the crotch?

Would you like someone to pour their drink on your head?

Would you like someone to crash into your parked car then drive away?

Would you like it if someone spread nasty rumours about you?

Would you like it if someone set up a date then didn't show up... no call or text... or ANY further contact?

Would you like someone to write bad things about you in an open forum?

Would you like to have someone knock your plate of food onto the floor?

Would you like someone to yell at you incessantly and call you names for a simple innocent mistake?

Would you like it if someone put Ex-lax in your food?

Would you appreciate someone leaving their trash in your yard?

Would you like someone punching you in the mouth for no reason...or even if there WAS a reason, would you still like it???

Would you like someone speeding up to pass you on the left then cut you off so they could make their exit?

Would you like it if someone took something of yours just because they wanted it?

Would you like to have someone put a gun in your face and take your money?

Well... WOULD YOU????????

Would you like it if someone paid for your meal/gas/coffee/groceries for no reason?

Would you like someone to help you load something heavy into your car?

Would you appreciate someone helping you clean up the mess?

Would you like it if someone held the door open for you?

Would you like someone to allow you to go first?

Would you like to have someone pleasure you endlessly the way you like?

Well.... WOULD YOU???????

It seems quite a bit lately I have been preaching The Golden Rule in my comments on a lot of posts. I figured I'd take a moment to write something a little more poignant to express this ever so simple rule of life

It IS a very simple concept: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. See how simple it really is?

It only takes a few seconds of insightful thought...'Would I want someone to do this to ME??'

If this concept could only be contagious

This post is in conjunction with CalypsoFlame's post titled Around '50... . I wanted to leave a comment but it ended up being a bit too long so I figured I make my own post in concert with hers....more 'blogsex' if you will

A woman I was seeing for quite a while was studying Psychology to become a MFT. I learned quite a bit while we were together

Something I realized one time initiated a discussion between us. The "decline" of a man's erectile function over time. I summarized a man's boner gets less and less strong over time due to abuse. Yes, abuse. After 35 years or so of being abused the muscle tissues become degraded and do not work as thoroughly as they used to, especially that small part which keeps the blood infused within the hard-on. Seriously, 35 years of holding the dam in place can take it's toll, yes? Sex was not meant to be pleasure, it was intended for procreation, period.

She agreed and added her observations about wood in that a young man's erection will point in an upward direction while an older man's stiffy barely points straight out

Another aspect about this scene I realized: Women's orgasms, seemingly far and few between according to a lot of gripes and complaints, are another thing to be considered as a side effect of sex. Again, sex is for procreation, not pleasure, so a woman having an orgasm is irrelevant.

I can hear it already, hush up out there On the grand scale of human evolution these things I am discussing started a very long time ago, long before humans discovered sex can be fun

Yet another excuse...err, I mean aspect of this: It could be said that a man's premature ejaculation is purely a natural occurrence as well. Remember, sex is for procreation, not pleasure. A man is supposed to get hard, jam it in a few times to blow his nut and impregnate the woman. That's all, end of story.

Somewhere along the timeline humans discovered sex can be fun so why not make it last longer, try different things and make it one of the best experiences a person can have. Maybe these things are why older women crave younger guys and vice versa...a woman's sex drive has matured and she knows what she wants and the young man who points to the heavens has what she wants This may also explain why an older man's drive has lessened... he's created his family and now there's no need to further his bloodline so the drive isn't there as much as it used to be, in conjunction with the years of abuse the cock says 'fuck you, I'm tired and LEAVE ME ALONE!!'

P.S. The clit becomes 7 times larger???

I wonder if this is an evolutionary product....men always seem to have trouble finding it so the woman's body makes it grow, thus it's easier to find

John Adams, John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin were sitting around in the middle of winter 1775. They were discussing the current situation they were facing and decided to say FUCK YOU to the King. They immediately started working on a draft of the Declaration of Independence when Ben spoke up...

"Wait guys... do we want to do this right now??"

Setting his quill down, Adams replied "Whatcha mean...'right now'?"

Hancock and Jefferson, playing chess, turned their heads towards the conversation, interested to hear it's progression.

Ben: "Well, it's dead winter right now, so cold my nuts have retreated to within my loins where it is much warmer!"

They all laughed at the silliness and Jefferson added "I agree, when we are successful in cutting ties from that asshole King, people will most certainly celebrate the day with glorious amounts of food, drink and fireworks!!"

Mopping up what Jefferson was spilling, Hancock chimed in "Yes sir!! We should wait 'til the summer time, when the weather is nicer, the days are longer and people with have a most glorious time!!"

Elatedly Ben stands up "ABSOLUTELY!! Hot dogs, watermelon, beer, iced tea, hamburgers, potato salad, chips, dips, chains and whips!!!"

The room got extremely quiet at that point and Ben corrected himself by adding "Well, you know what I mean...water balloons, volleyball and all kinds of fun stuff!!"

It was then they decided to wait until July 5th to make things official. But then they realized the 5th was a Friday so they changed it to the fourth to make it a 4 day weekend

Thanks guys

Yes, I said it...BORING!!

Having grown up....okay, not really grown up but acquired years of existence... in San Diego I was lucky enough to have seen the evolution of Sky Show. Huh? You don't know what Sky Show is? Allow me...

Waaayyyyyy back in like mid 1970s local radio station KGB decided to host a fireworks show not associated with Independence Day, by several months no less. The first 8 or 9 years of the show featured an afternoon of rock concerts at Qualcomm Stadium (back then it was known as Jack Murphy Stadium, named after local sports writer Jack Murphy) followed by the fireworks show. Each year the concerts got better and better as did the fireworks Some time along the way they started playing music to go along with the fireworks. My first experience attending Sky Show was number VII featuring Joan Jett, Chuck Berry and Cheap Trick along with a few local bands The next year featured headliner Motley Crue...I had a ticket but no ride so I ended up not going

At one point a few years later too many women complained, rightfully so, about too many men invading the women's restroom and there were reports of a couple of sexual assaults After those incidents the radio station decided to do the Sky Show after Aztec football games then later they changed it to happen after Padre games. These days they just do it whenever and wherever they want

One of the last ones I attended was when they did it on the bay....using 5 barges out on the water spaced apart covering about a mile and a half In the evolution of Sky Show the displays became longer and longer, anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. One year my friend and I organized a group outing and we arranged for a large group of our friends to occupy a press box during the game. One price gave us the game, all the food and drinks we could consume as well as the Sky Show. It was quite the party We did that a few years in a row

On one of those occasions the Sky Show featured about 1,000 percussion bursts at the end. For those who may not know, a percussion burst is simply a low altitude charge which goes up about 200 feet and explodes with a LOUD boom, no colors or anything fancy, just BOOM I like those It took about 5 minutes to shoot them all off. I like that The next year they did 5,000 The year after that they did 10,000 ...\8 I have always liked the ones that go waaayyyyyyy up high.... you know, you hear the "foom" of the ignition and launch and an hour later it explodes about 20 miles high and fills the whole sky!! They do a ton of those along with colored themes, shapes which correspond to the musical themes etc.

Sky show has always been quite the spectacular event, hundreds of thousands of people attend...yes, traffic and parking suck donkey balls but it's well worth it, trust me

I hope now you can understand why I say the 15-20 minute 4th of July shows are boring

The following is an absolutely true story, I would normally say I changed the names but would you know if I really had or not??

Foreshadowing...A place where I worked many years ago was owned by a guy who had 2 from his first marriage. The was perfectly beautiful. No, I'm dead serious. Describe her?? HAH...good luck with that Just imagine the perfect woman in your eyes and that will suffice for this person's looks She made Venus look like a troll

She was going out with one of the sales guys from work...eventually they got hitched One Friday night we all went to a small club downtown to see Mini KISS... a group of small guys who did a true KISS show, pretty good! We were sitting at a tall table with stools, having some food and drinks before the show started

From out of the blue a guy came walking towards us To me he looked like a stereotypical "New Yorker" and when he spoke he even sounded like it Now, the other guy and I were dressed casual but nice and she was dressed .... uhhh, DAYUM!! Mouth watering to say the least

The guy walks right up to our table, standing next to her and asks her "How come the most beautiful woman here is hanging out with the two ugliest guys in here??" Without missing a beat she held her hands up in a parallel fashion about 15 inches apart and said "Cuz size matters!"

I am not one who follows celebrity lives, hype, drama etc. I couldn't care less It does not affect me directly and I wouldn't like all the BS associated with being a "star" of one type or another. There are plenty of celebrities who you never hear about, mostly because they live their lives free of doing things newsworthy...they're clean and therefore the media and paparazzi aren't interested because they aren't getting into trouble (so when I become a star I'll be like this )

However, as of late I have noticed one celebrity who does things quite newsworthy and I always hope the things this person does becomes contagious. Giving away money, making personal gestures towards fans, helping fans, surprising fans, including fans etc. etc. etc. COMPLETE SELFLESSNESS!!!! Sharing the wealth so to speak

Something I can never understand, people who are more than well off not helping others who desperately need it. I have always said when I win the lottery there will be sooooo many people I could help......remember that Golden Rule thing?

I know there are other celebrities who engage in said activity but lately it seems this one is more prevalent. You'd think with all the positive coverage she gets from this (and I know that is not the reason she does it) it would become a trend of sorts...being nice, helping others, giving...just to be nice to your fellow human beings I've done things like this, on a smaller scale of course, so I know how good it can make one feel

I personally think she is drop dead gorgeous and envy the man who gets to spend quality time with her. I do not know her music, other than maybe a small clip or two played along with any story about her good deeds. In MY eye she is a shining example of the proper way to be...I know there are others who do this as well but I cannot think of who they are at this moment ...help me out people, who are they?

I would not be surprised at all if sometime in the near future the celebrity community comes out with The Taylor Swift Humanitarian Award to honour those who do such positive things for others
