That attitude profits noone, least of all you. You can't shoulder others' shortcomings. What did they do to deserve such a favor? About twenty or so years ago, I was in a very dark place. I was hurt and I was very, very angry about it and everything else. So I started trying to find a way to deal with it. After a while, I figured out a way. I decided not to worry about, not to even waste a Planck Time second on anything I couldn't or wouldn't at least try to do something about. The light that came into my life at that moment was biblical. I still have to work on me but, everyone else is just fucked. That's their problem for them to work on. Lighthouses are special, don't you think? I got a new blender today. I'm gonna have a chocolate shake for supper. Love, sigrhetman. [image]

Life for many folks just now is anything but a walk park so am sorry to hear you get so down on your luck with any sort of relationships. Maybe a break & the warmer weather that is fast approaching will cheer you up enough to get out & about once again. Being depressed is difficult yes but shouldn't be enough to keep you from enjoying what this world has to offer, even if Men are beastly creatures at the best of times.

I don't have any words of wisdom to share (except that I somewhat agree with what mcgraw said). I know how you feel. I quit trying about 4 years ago. I don't even chat with guys who fall outside my parameters. Of course, I also expect to be disappointed, so...I'm never disappointed.  This feels trite to say, but hang in there. Unfortunately most didn't make the cut. You need to regroup, ground yourself, and find your self worth. NO man, or woman can find self worth in another person. Never let another person steal your joy, or self esteem. Look at it like this, if they choose not to keep a date to meet, its THEIR LOSS. And it keeps you from wasting your time with loosers. Put them to the curb. They were just playing hurtful games. And NEVER catch feelings before you meet any of these men. Learn the gaslighting/love bombing well before you meet them.
