The solution

to ending police brutality and death is really simple. If you commit a crime and the police are there to arrest you, then comply. Follow orders let them cuff you and get in their vehicle because most of them are wanting to do their job and not have to do nasty things.

You are unlikely to escape by fighting them and they certainly will not just let you go. You are just compounding your problems face more charges and time and may lose your life. I know some of you think you will get the "lottery" being millions from police brutality but you may end up dead. Money won't do you any good.

It is a shame the media doesn't show whites die by police hands at greater numbers than minorities and to black policeman as well. Not picking a fight here or calling out racism as I think, most police are doing their job and resisting arrest gets messy. I don't think they go out there and think I'm going to kill someone tonight. Some abuse their oath and mistreat citizens, and commit crimes and that is what we have IA, and laws and judges to determine. Let's get rid of the bad ones the right way.

I totally agree, and before I fully grew up and became a responsible adult, I was a reckless dumbass. I made a lot of poor choices, and had a lot of interactions with police, and racked up many arrest along the way. So I met and dealt with more law enforcement then I care to admit, and my actions decided how these went, and how I was treated. Early on I would always decide to resist, and fight with them, and all that got me was more charges, more fines, court dates, and pricey lawyers. I would take something as simple as a public intox, and turn that into resisting arrest, or interference with official acts, assault on a peace officer causing bodily harm. That would take me from a $60 fine to about $2000 in fines, court coast, and lawyer fees. Eventually I changed how I acted, and wouldn't you know it, I wasn't getting sprayed, or ending up face down in the dirt with five cops on my back. I even actually spent time talking with these guys, who I once thought were getting carried away with how they dealt with me , and they were all great guys. Now one of my best friends is on that sheriffs department, and I now hangout with guys that were once arresting me. Out of all the different cops, sheriffs, detectives, I dealt with, in only actually know of one guy that was a actual piece of shit. These are mostly good people, and they are just trying to do there job, and if you want to act like a ass, they will treat you accordingly.
