I quit watching the new. Today's invasion of Ukraine is too much like Bosnia. Tonight is going to suck. The demons always haunt my dreams when I get triggered like this. Damn is cold today too.

I swear I don't believe there are any real spontaneous people out there. Everyone is so scared and timid these days. I should be back in the 60's. This world is too much in a hurry for me and just no fun.

Today was all about going through a bunch of old memories at the house and figuring out what's coming to the apartment with me Still no sign of intelligent life around here. Ill continue to search. Where are the interesting women in Cypress or Houston even?

I'm a retired Army veteran. I served for twenty three years. I was officially diagnosed with complex PTSD in July of 2021. It's stunning and exquisitely painful at times; Mind numbing at others. Man has a tremendous capacity towards violence. I'm learning to sort through all the garbage to find the special things in life. The moments you cant buy. I'm trying to stay in the moment as much as possible and really take notice of the small things that happen each day. I struggle to trust others but I have seen proof that people are good. Today I will choose to trust.
