Be Here Now
Be Here Now Been reading Ram Dass. And lots of books about life. My friend at work likes the "Death Bed" analogy. Do you want be lying on your death bed and think about what you did and what you didn't do in your life? Good question. Then the question is, what direction do I go when I decide change my life? Do you follow dreams or check of those items on your bucket list? Philosophically, I am a Buddhist. I live in the now. The future and the past are just attachments be avoided. Thus, my direction would focused immediate needs. Happiness, satisfaction and love. In Zen, we look for balance. Equal amounts of love and hate, anger and complicity, selflessness and selfishness. That would be my direction. |
