As a veteran, this poem has meant a lot to me over the years and I hope that it will serve to remind you what this holiday is about. We mourn those who have fallen and cannot be with us and celebrate life because they paid the price so that we can.
If you are able,
save them a place
inside of you
and save one backward glance
when you are leaving
for the places they can
no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say
you loved them,
though you may
or may not have always.
Take what they have left
and what they have taught you
with their dying
and keep it with your own.
And in that time
when men decide and feel safe
to call the war insane,

I had an unexpected day off yesterday but I still woke up super early, as is my habit. It was still dark out but I decided that it would be a nice day for some photography and it was already pretty warm out, also somewhat unexpected. So, off I went to get some coffee and wait for the sun to come up. Another nice surprise was that it was super foggy out! I had a great time playing with different settings to pick up the lighting in the fog.

I conduct interviews as part of my job and I start the interview with the understanding that the person is giving me their best first impression. I believe that you will never get anything better than the image that an interviewee is putting forward for an interview. If the impression is good, bad or fantastic....that is their best foot forward.
I have mentioned that I actually read profiles, even the guys profiles. I'm astounded by what people will put on their profile. Also, it's not just the men, women too! I'm most astounded by the close up genital shot as the profile pic from both men and women. That's your best asset?? Or the close up with the background full of clutter or...wait for it...right over a urinal!!!! Seriously, a pic of the dude's junk right over the urinal as his profile pic! Don't get me wrong, I am totally fine with the genital pic, just not as my first option and really not even an option, just forced on me as the main pic.
Furthermore, words have meaning. I read one today that stated "you must be disease or drama free." So, the woman thinking about dating him gets to choose to be drama free but she can bring the disease?
All I'm saying is, present your best you. Plain and simple go to the interview as the best possible version of you. Sometimes present the best foot forward takes a little thought and practice, and that's ok!

I will admit that I am frustrated with this change to the VIP status that Senior Sizzle is putting into place. I'm literally scratching my head at on this one. So, I actually pay money for the VIP crown and one of the benefits is for me to share flowers with people who I message and exchange flowers with fellow VIP members. I use my points that I gain from this exchange to tip people who I think are awesome on cam or to support the fan list on this site. I'm trying to figure out why I should renew my VIP status now? They have taken the only real tangible benefit to the status away from us and, again, it's a status that I fork out my own money towards.

If you read my profile you know that I love photography. I have always been fascinated by the idea of a boudoir photo shoot. I think that it would be fun artistically and, frankly, having a lady or couple posing for my lens is kind of a turn on.

So, I stopped to get gas on the way home yesterday. It was a super long day and I was barely paying attention as I was pumping gas when this lady gets out of her car next to me. Wow! So, I read a lengthy profile this morning. Yes, I am one that reads your profile, every time. Anyways, this particular couple made it a point to multiple times that only real people should be contacting them. I mean, really hammered in that they were only interested in real people. So, I looked at photos and they seem legit. However, after they made this such a priority, I wonder, why have they not posted any photos for verification or submitted for a confirmed status? Just seems hypocritical to require this of someone when they of taken zero steps to prove the same. Rant complete!

I love sports and watching sports of any kind. So, when I am home I typically keep Sports Center on in the background as I go about doing whatever I need to do. I have had Sports Center on since 5 this morning and the big topic is that Tiger Woods dropped out of a tournament. I'm trying to figure our why this is a big story? Tiger has not been a contender for many years now. It seems hugely unfair to all of the athletes out there who are actually competing. End rant.
