I had the pleasure of interacting with a gentleman a few days ago, who was, slightly disheartened with the site and women in general. His profile and status were peppered with derision toward women in general.
He hotlisted me. I thanked him for it but declined, as I don't have patience for that sort of thing right now. This is supposed to be fun, not a therapy session. His immediate response was to not contact him again, and if I did, he would report me to the site. All I could do was laugh at the absurdity of him being angry that I acknowledged him.
I get it. The site can be frustrating sometimes. "All women everywhere suck" is not really going to garner any brownie points with ladies who have a shred of dignity and self-esteem though.
Hell, a few (okay all) of my blog posts are in direct response to a few of the gems I'm come across while being here.
There's no reason to blame everyone for the transgressions of those lacking in social graces and common courtesy. It just perpetuates the cycle of you remaining unlaid.

I've been chatting with an absolutely wonderful man on the site for ages. He also has the most spectacular package I've ever seen. Intelligent, educated, funny, and hung. He's stayed around for months, despite not being intimate. It doesn't get better than this.
Well, minus the whole lack of intimacy. I want him. Badly. We have a small problem. Well, really it's a not-so-small problem. I mentioned he's hung? He proves that there really can be too much of a good thing. His size terrifies me.
Gentlemen, you read that correctly. I am scared of his penis.
He's still waiting patiently. Chatting away. He invited me over yesterday. I found my nerve, shaved everything, and then discovered he'd found other things to do because goodness knows I wouldn't find the nerve to do it.
*sigh* Lesson of the day. If you invite her over for the dozenth time, make sure she really isn't prepping to do so before you leave the house without a word.

It doesn't matter if it's a site, such as this, primarily for adult pleasure or if it's another site that caters to those looking for a long term partner, there are numerous scumbags, both male and female. Some of these fine individuals realize their lack of worth to society in general. Others are oblivious to their shortcomings.
I'm no beauty queen. As a matter of fact, I'm *gasp* a fat girl. I'm not everyone's cup of tea. Likewise, you're not either. That said, if someone doesn't see a fit, be it because of lack of physical attraction, seeking different things...or aforementioned scumminess, please take the hint when someone says "no thanks".
I've lost track of the number of individuals who simply won't take the hint. "I'll pass, but good luck". I'm not sure why "...but I'll eat you real good" is an acceptable response. I'm not interested, period. The idea of fooling around with someone who disinterests me is repulsive. Eww...eww...and let me reemphasize, EWWW.
Do you think it's furthering your cause? Really? The single ladies here are already extremely picky. Don't make it worse on all of the other men. If we tell you no thanks, please just go away.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm no real catch on this website or in real life. I'm short, fat, and tempermental. I have no patience for stupidity--ignorance can be forgiven. I hold myself to certain standards, and I have similar requirements for those with whom I choose to become intimate.
While this is a sex site, for the numerous gentlemen who haven't, have you ever considered putting a minute amount of effort into completing your profile or your message when you initiate contact?
An IM stating "I'm local, let's fuck" with no profile information really isn't the most appealing option. It becomes even less appealing when monosyllabic responses hint at a double-digit IQ. However, even that can be forgiven. We're all here for a reason, so no harm, no foul.
Where I find personal annoyance (see first paragraph about being tempermental) is when my questions are met with "This isn't e-Harmony, why are you asking?" Well, I don't play with married men. Period. I have absolutely zero interest in a jealous wife or girlfriend gutting me and wearing my skin as parka to keep her warm this winter. I don't sleep with the mentally challenged--why would I when there are numerous educated, professional men here who are willing and able to carry an intelligent conversation?
It's a sex site. That does mean that I'm here for the same thing you are. It doesn't mean that I'm here to sleep with you or men like you. Like it or not, the male to female ratio is skewed in my favor, and I plan to use that to my advantage.
I should get over it? Really? Me? Maybe you should get over that even fat, cranky, lil ol' me isn't interested and is trying to not shatter your ego with honesty.
