New Car

Well, we did it. We broke down and got a new car.
Really didn't want the extra payment, but was really tired of working on used shit.
It's a 2013 Kia Rio and we love it.
We are so totally blown away by the car.
The savings in gas is half the car payment.

Saturday kicks off the start of collage football.
I've really lost interest in pro football. It's become too money. In collage they are still trying to prove they have what it takes.
Our favorite team is the Sooners, but we also root for all our state collage teams, so if you are a OSU Cowboys fan, don't throw the hate.

The Lawn

So, sometime in July I was trying to clear out an area when the belt popped off.
Since everything was mowed except for what I was clearing, I decided that was good enough.
Then it turned typical Oklahoma summer, no rain and no grass growing. So the mower just sits.
Then came the rains and man did that grass grow.
Time to mow; that's when I learned that the belt didn't just come off, the spindle had shit it self and of course no one in has one.
2 weeks later new spindle arrives. The pulley is bent.
After a couple hours fighting with the pulley on the old spindle, I'm off and mowing....for 1 hour then the belt breaks.
So now here I am, knee high grass mowing at the slowest speed, twice.
That mower hates me, I just know it.
