It's been a long week so far.
I've been in OKC since Sunday night working some jacked up hours.
I worked from 8:45 Tuesday night to 7:30 Wednesday morning. Then I tried to make the almost 3 hour drive home.
Made it to the halfway point on the Turner Turnpike and thought it best to sleep for an hour.
After that, I was a rock star.
were really glad to see me, but to be honest I think the was more excited.
Gudgirl hasn't made it home yet from work, I know she's excited to see me. Which is good, because it's humpday and I'm horny.
In case you were wondering, on tonight's menu is home made tostadas, which are really just flat tacos.

Went to the Mayes County Fair last night.
So much better than the Tulsa fair. No sleazy Murphy Brother's carnies.
No gate fee, no parking fee.
Pack some sandwiches, buy the an all they can ride wrist band and turn them loose.
Then mom and dad kick back on lawn chairs sipping gin.
What a great night.

We've been with out water since Fire II, needless to say, Gudgirl is starting to get really irritated.
I was in OKC Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so I was not able to do anything about it.
Well, I think I've got it. Just waiting for the glue to dry then I'm turning on the valve.
Wish us luck, getting tired of hauling in water for the toilet.

Earlier today I made a light hearted post about our catching the grass on fire.
Not a big deal, something I've done before.
Well, tonight we had a real fire tragedy in the Captain's family.
This afternoon, my cousins house burned to the ground. Nothing was saved, everything was lost.
Thankfully my cousin's were not home at the time.
There was a cat in the house and it is presumed dead.
Be thankful for what you have because in a moment it could be gone.

Remember how high the grass was last weekend? The Lawn
Well this weekend, as the 16yo is mowing, all that cut grass started pilling up in front of the mower. That's where the muffler is.
She was pretty excited when she called, thank God for modern technology.
Back in my day I would have had to walked in from the back yard, not call.
We did a lot more walking then.
Anyway, the fire was easy to put out. Just kicked the dead grass away and let it burn out.
Glad this didn't happen last year.

The other day, I posted this picture on Gudgirl's facebook page.
They deleted it, banned her from posting anything for 24 hours and told her if she did it again they would delete her account.
