I came here, I don't remember why, but it ended being an unexpected stroll down memory lane, discovering new things here, and apparently making me the surveyor of things gay!!!
I believe I came here update my groups about the parties this August, and that led being made moderator of a group started by someone else. I decided I could use it to help mine, made a few changes and I guess it is mine as well.
Somehow, I ended up at a local adult section, and started checking things out. I don't usually hang here long, but I started seeing novelties shops. and came across Patty's Lounge, which is close enough to my massage studio that I have benefited on my late nights there by walking passed on my way home. I have purchased a few handbags from the girls. I have bought drag from the girls, for Halloween or the occasional drag performance. But most importantly, a few attractive male drunks loitering in the parking lot near closing have found a better way to pass the time. I wrote a review and moved on.
Saw a section on gay baths, and they had 4 listed. I only knew of 2, so I perused it and learned the real deal. Technically there were 2 and I wrote a review for them. During this pandemic, neither are what they use to be, so I remembered better times with them. And especially at Club Indy, there were several. Many tipsy nights, I ended up there instead of trying to get home. And I had no problem stalking guys I wanted when I arrived. Going to the other end of the dark area when I saw eye candy go in, knowing they would pass me headed out. Sneaking up on a guy in the darkened steam area, and giving him a sampling of what I could do. Seducing a guy in the sauna who never even opened his eyes until I was done, and he thanked as he left. I actually had quite the reputation there, and the male strippers from the Unicorn Club did nothing to prevent it. I immensely enjoyed the company of nearly half the regular entertainers there.
I have a few stories from the Works as well, but they aren't nearly as spicy. The or four times they have tried hire . I learned later that Club Indy wanted as well, but I spent too much there for them to lose as a paying patron. I have a few great episodes there...the awesome BIB meeting there, and the crazy from Kokomo. But I really should just finish this .
And the Unicorn had thinking about the other gay bars I frequented. So I checked them out as well. And there were no comments for any of them after 2007 2011, so I attempted do updates. Places like Betty Boops, Tubes and NYC weren't even mentioned. And several are now what they were in their prime. Illusions is now Zonie's, and who knows how much longer that will be the case. Brothers is now Ollie's, just a shell of what it use be. The amazing Jimmy's, which sunk into Jaguar's before dropping into Utopia, is now an art gallery. Awesome places like Oz and disasters like Ruthellen's came and went like most gay men. Then there were mainstays like Greg's Our Place, Metro and the Varsity, at one time the oldest gay bar in the city. Drag spots like The Ten and Club Cabaret, and my personal favorites, the 501 and the Unicorn, and I have great memories, back stories and reflections on them all. It is a shame really. Of the seventeen gay bars that were listed here, the dozen or so that were missed during my time and the nearly ten legendary gay bars before me, there are only five left.
So it will be my secondary purpose to keep the gay side of this site more active, and I would appreciate all the help I can get with that. Just holler at me here and we will see what we can do! Thanking you in advance for reading, and hopefully reacting and responding!!!

A Quickie...Still Not Comfortable Calling Anyone Out Yet!

I don't want to reiterate the whole thing about why I'm not here more, and why some people haven't heard from me, If you are that interested, please take the time to read my last couple of blog posts. But I felt the need to say a few things while I was here, and yet, I didn't want to call anyone out by name, still trying to respect the fact that not everyone wants to be connected to the "openly gay black guy on here." Actually, I think a few may have to be called out, but I will try very hard not to!
Before I get to that though, I do want to say that this year has been amazing in terms of business, and the holidays, from Halloween to Valentine's Day, is usually my best peak, so I expect it to stay that way, if not get better. But I will be making it a point of getting back here more often, not necessarily to say anything, but there are some hot and interesting guys here, so I may do some window shopping. My personal life right now is all right, but there is not one significant, and it would be nice to find someone to hang out with on some of those holidays, and make some special nights with. That said, I will likely be hinting at a few guys now, hoping that if they have a real, genuine interest in me, or a simple massage session, they will make themselves known! I think I'm ready to get this party started. lol
I recently became the top fan of three guys here. A couple I wish to speak to now. One, I wish to offer an apology to, and I think he will know who he is because I attempted to do it privately, but I'm not sure he got the email.

The other young man I became a top fan of, doesn't live too far away, and I hope and I hope he will take the time to get to know me or take advantage of the opportunity I presented to him.
Speaking of fans, I think I have one, and i will admit right now, he is my favorite guy here! I'm assuming he will know who he is as well, so hello there. I really want you, if you haven't already, to write and bring me up to speed on things! I will be doing better about keeping up with you, and thank you for being so awesome! It is very much appreciated.
The third guy I became a top fan of, I just think is very cute! And I am hoping he can figure out who he is because I believe I have to call the other two guys out. Hell of a Month! Father's Day & Gay Pride!!!

Business comes in spurts for me. The end of the year is pretty good, usually ending on about the third of January. Valentine's Day is a good single day. Summers usually give me an increase in daily business. And my location is great for travelers into and out of the city. Even days see better business at lunch, after work or late nights. But this month between Father's Gay and Gay Pride Month, I literally had my hands full, and I'm not complaining.

why I don't hang out much here. This site is so confusing!
I can read some of my mail, but not all of it! Something about having to be a gold member. But I guess that means at least one of the parties have to be a gold member, correct? So I don't really want to call anyone out, but if you were trying to write me and didn't get a response, this would be why. I was able to read or respond to it. I was brought up better than that, and always answer my mail, even if I not interested. It is a compliment to get somebody's attention around here, especially someone like me.
Which make me want to reiterate, I a stocky, middle-aged, gay black man! Now reminded that not all the guys on the site are gay or bisexual, it would be nice to check out the site before I invest money, but I can't really judge the practicality of it when I can't utilize most of the features. I can't see who is checking out, unless they do something to let me know they are interested, like write, flirt, etc. I can only answer part of my mail. And because I who I , I don't expect to get a whole lot of attention here, so it doesn't seem feasible to put money here at this time. I've been self-employed for twelve now, so I do have something of a head for business, and right now, this does not feel like a smart investment to me.
So I will pop up every once in a while, answer my mail, do what I can do while here, check out the hot guys on here, and there are several! You may be wondering why I'm back. Well, I was under the impression that my profile had been denied, and since I didn't see anything that didn't seem real and honest to me, I was willing to let this go. But they kept sending emails. It's Valentine's Day and I'm single and haven't felt like taking advantage of it in a few years now. So I think I should make up for some lost time, don't you?
Over the next four days, I'm working on some things. I can't have set times for anything, because I'm calling it a working weekend, just in case some hot or lonely guy requires my services to get through the weekend. Hell, I may even offer a discount based on appearances. lol

And finally, I'm hosting a strip poker night Saturday starting at nine. Now since I'm actually hosting another one in a week, some might call this overkill. But I think in this case, it just may work out. The bar should be stocked, and hopefully there will be some remaining food left for next week. And because it is Valentine's Day weekend, I can be finicky and selective with this one, and direct the less desirable ones to the later one. Sure, the group may be smaller, but it will be sexier and I have a better chance at getting around to them all.
So that's what's going on thus far this weekend. And the best part is... it still gives me time to take in a few more if they email me for services. I do most of my work on the computer now. Less noise, no holding the phone, a written copy of what's been agreed to, just so much easier for me.

Warning!!! I will never pursue anyone here without permission of an invitation. I will look at the guys who look good to me.
