What comes to mind when you hear strap-on or pegging? What images and play things do you imagine?

Whether you are new to the lifestyle or are a well-rounded nymphomaniac each individual has their own personal ideals and knowledge when it comes to certain sexual acts or terminology. Now, if what someone thinks a certain sex act consists of can be fact or an urban dictionary myth.
Get lubed up because this post is getting down to the bump and grind that is strap-on sex. Also, commonly known as pegging.

Strap-on sex or pegging – what is it exactly?

Simply put, strap-on sex or pegging is butt sex. If you prefer the eloquent definition, strap-on sex is penetration of the anus with a dildo that is worn in a harness by another individual (see exhibit A). Pegging is another term that is commonly used when speaking of strap-on sex. “My boyfriend told me he wants to be pegged.” I will be perfectly honest, even after we were using the strap-on regularly I did not know what pegging was when I first heard it. I will also fess up that I did go look on Urban Dictionary to expand my knowledge.

Who uses strap-ons?

Strap-ons can be used by men or women. Women will use them on their female partners and not necessary for anal penetration. Personally, I use it on my husband for his pleasure because he likes anal penetration. Hell, if I had a prostate I would want it too! It seems to be very stimulating 
For those women that have used a strap-on for their boyfriend, husband, submissive or just some guy that likes to be pegged, you know that it can be challenging when first starting out. There is the entire situation of trying to find a harness that fits and is comfortable. Also, having the dildo fit properly is important. Do you have the proper lube? Is your man stretched and ready? What about not making a mess? Without all of the above the experience itself and rhythm of fucking can just get awkward and not to mention painful.

Where do you Buy Strap on’s and what else do I need?

You are standing in the middle of a sex store and you think to yourself, “what harness to I get, there are so many to choose from?” This is a very good question!!! Also, this is one that takes a little preparation and research if you do not want to spend a lot of money of multiple items that do not work for you or are not what you want exactly.

1. Research:
Start by doing some good old investigating. Google can be wonderful tool for researching what types of harness and dildos will work best for you. Although this is a subject that is not discussed a lot out in the open, there are plenty of places online that will give you the information you need. Start by going to a site that actually sells them and read customer reviews. These were helpful to us in the beginning. They will describe what is best and not so great about a product.
Then there is the site like we are on now. There are those of us that are more than happy to help out a fellow enthusiast when they are searching for what will meet their needs. Some of us will even answer your questions while broadcasting, so check out those pegging broadcasts!!!

2. Harnessed with no “wear” to go:
Harnesses are all sizes, shapes, materials, and comfort levels. Personally, I have 5 different strap-on harnesses and each on has its own function. They are used depending on the type and size of dildo I am using. Size can be length or weight. I have heaver duty harness for the bigger heavier dildos and the smaller harness are for the lighter, smaller dildos. Also, it depends on how rough I want to get. The heavier duty harnesses are better with faster and harder thrusting. Smaller ones are good warm up for easy and slow-going motions. Everyone has their training harness. That first one that gets you used to wearing a foreign appendage and how to properly maneuver it. By maneuver I mean not just using it on your partner. You have to get used to feeling like it’s an actual part of you. I say this because when that happens you achieve pegging bliss.
One thing that I have found through using the different harnesses is that they tend to pinch in the worst areas at times. I have my “strap-on underwear” that I put on under my harness and oh my gosh does it make a difference. I have a few pair, a boy-short type, a crotches lacey pair, and a cheeky lacey pair. I get black to match the harness and you can’t even tell. Whatever will make you comfortable is key. The harness will be tight once you get them in place and having that thin layer under the straps makes a huge difference. Remember the more comfortable you are the better pounding you will give!!

3. Vibrators, Dildo’s, and Cocks oh my:
Next, the dildo being used is as important as the harness it is placed in. From personal experience, the cyberskin, silicone and UR3 are easier to use in the harness and for the person getting penetrated. Think of the hard-plastic dildos that don’t bend or give at all, you might as well be using a broom stick on your partner. I told my husband that there is nothing that feels as good as a real cock and I want to use something that is as close as I can get since I don’t have a real one!! He did agree that the more lifelike dildos are much more pleasurable than the plastic. They are more malleable like a real cock. When using them in the harness they are easier to get a rhythm with and grind your hips with. They feel more like a part of you than the plastic dildos because they move with both partners bodies.

4. Lube me up!
Now, next thing that is crucial is lube. Get a water-based lubricant to use, especially if you are wearing a real feeling dildo. Plastic dildos you can use Crisco and it’s fine, but the silicone, cyberskin, UR3 dildoes will break down if silicone lubricant or oil is used. I say, take care of your real feeling dildo like you would your real cock….keep it clean and dry because no one wants dick cheese!
There are several water-based lubricants that are wonderful! Some of our favorites are:

-Gun Oil H2O
-Swiss Navy Water Based Lube
-Wicked Aqua

A new favorite is Wicked Toy Love, this is water based, but is nice and thick. It doesn’t run all over the place like some of the others.

• Pearl of Wisdom:
I have a little pet peeve when it comes to getting lube all over my hands because then you get lube all over everything! Plus, if your hands are slick it makes it more difficult when you need to put more lube on your dildo!!! No one wants to worry about this while they are having fun with their strap-on! I found an item at our local adult bookstore called Dry Hands – The Ultimate Gripping Solution. It’s a small white bottle and you just need a tiny amount, use it like hand sanitizer and bam, lube free hands!! It has worked out really well and now I don’t have to worry about shooting a bottle of lube across the room when I am trying to freshen up my dildo!

5. No Hot Mess:
Last, but not least there is the thought of having a mess on your hands while partaking in strap-on play. The thing to remember is clean out clean out clean out. There are different ways for this to be achieved, if you partner is one that doesn’t want to be pegged often and is okay with utilizing a laxative, okay. From a medical professional point of view -I do not suggest using laxatives unless this is a once every other month routine. This is not good for your digestive system and can cause dehydration. Getting an enema kit from the sex store is the best option. They have them that can hook to your shower or your sink and all you have to do is a flush and you are done. We started with one for the sink and now have the kind that hooks to the shower head and you just flip a switch to turn it on. This is the easier option because you can just flush out while in the shower. This is advice that we received from an anal sex seminar, we paid for, given by adult film actors that primarily shot anal videos. Just take the drain out of the shower and you are golden…no pun intended!

THE END

This is our first time writing in a blog, but it's something we have thought about trying. The idea behind it is to discuss topics related to sex, whether considered taboo in some circles or just questions about sex.

We will discuss it all....kink, fetish, role play, dominant/submissive relationship. Just because it isn't what we do doesn't mean that it's a null topic. Everyone is different and has different turn ons and what gets them off sexually, so let's talk about it!

If there is anything in particular you would want to be discussed please send us a message and we will begin making a list of topics to be covered.

So here we go!!! happym;
