I knew I should have taken that left at Albuquerque.
What started as a one or two night stand now seems to be a relationship. It came out of the blue and now I find myself sitting here going WTF? I didn't want a relationship, I certainly never planned on one. Yet here it is, sitting in my lap. My schedule certainly doesn't allow us much time together but we spend as much as we can.
So, given my history, it probably won't last much longer. LOL! But for the time being, it's enjoyable. It just hits me every once in a while that I have no idea how I got here. But I guess when you throw two middle aged perverts together for any length of time something is bound to happen.

12 hour days are going to kill me. I never knew I could be this tired only to get up in the morning and do it all over again. Ok, ok, so I used morning a little loosely. I beat even the butt crack of dawn out of bed. Only a few things suck, it's damn cold that early in the morning, a few men think women shouldn't be on the oil field, and the port-a-potties aren't cleaned nearly often enough.
The nice things are that I made in a week here what it took me a month to make at my old job, I have met some really great people that are teaching me tons of new things, and because it is such hard work, I am getting back in shape. So it's dirty, smells bad, and there is a chance that something could blow up, it could be worse right? Seriously though, tired as I am, it's all worth it. I really like the work and most of the people. I imagine I'll get used to the hours soon.

Little did I realize what a project an older camp trailer would be when I started down this road. Just as I get one thing fixed, I find something else that needs fixing. The plumbing was a NIGHTMARE. I took several showers I never meant to take. I probably could have avoided it if I had just ripped it all out and started over from the beginning, but I didn't. Three days later, I finally have it all worked out and there are no leaks. I did have to rip most of it out though. There is really only 1 piece of the original left. So the legs on the bed are fixed. The fridge has been replaced. The propane line was custom made so I can use the 100 lb. tank. The whole thing has been scrubbed down. I have to finish the curtains before I leave tomorrow. The cushions have to be restitched but I have decided to do that while I am there as my bed (with new mattress as my back would not survive on camper cushions) can double as my couch the way I set it up. I still need to re-insulate the roof, but that's another project I can do while I am there. My truck got the careful once over from my mechanic and is in good health for running through the oilfields. I am almost set. I should probably get off here and go re-caulk the shower. I actually bought the right kind of caulk this time. LOL! Well, I hope to see you all more on my days off. I am 11 on and 3 off or something close to that. Who knows, maybe my rv park will begin to offer wi-fi and then I can bring this thing and be on while I am there after work. Somehow I should have known that Wyoming would still be too backwards to offer it now.

I finally landed the job I wanted in the oil fields. I start on the 26th. This week will be a mad scramble to try and get the camper ready to move over there so I have a place to stay when I am on shift. I will try to spend some time online and catch up with you all now that I don't spend my days on a computer doing customer service. Hope you all are well and haven't missed me too much!

A friend that I met off the site has asked me to do something for his birthday. Basically he wants me to find a Female Dom who either has her own slave and will let us observe how a slave is properly controlled or one without a slave that will teach me how to control him. Not really sure how to go about it. If I open my profile up to couples in an effort to find such a thing, I can only picture the amount of email I will get from couples that want to swing. As most of you know, I don't play well with others so this is going to be a stretch to start with. I don't mind doing it for him as I had already had thoughts of adding a little bitch boy to my list of playthings. I am just so unsure of how to go about keeping him in line. Scored an interview for a new job next Tuesday. I hope I get it. Sure, it's 12 hour days with 11 on and 3 off and it's in the oilfields, but I can't wait! The money is good, no more sitting on my ass watching it spread, no more angry customers wanting me to fix the shit they messed up. Where's the downside? Well ok, a 4 hour drive into Wyoming may not be the best thing but I don't care to relocate my over there. So wish me luck! And if you must, picture me in coveralls and covered in grease. LOL!

Yes, I did go in for the biopsies on Monday. No, they didn't find any abnormal cells to biopsy. They did take some scrapings from the inside of my cervix just to be sure, but I won't get the results from that until next Monday. I am doing fine if a little tender. I will let you know when I know, but so far it doesn't look like there is anything to worry about. Everyone settled down now?

I am going nuts. I spend way too much time working so I am stuck in the house a lot. I know I should spend my day off catching up on the house work, but it's so warm out I just want to be outside. Not to mention I have gained about 10 lbs. sitting on my ass working on a computer all day. Decisions, decisions. I guess I can find a compromise somewhere. If I clean now, I can probably go walk my dogs later. Ok ok, I will be responsible. Now where's the Pinesol?

The more I work on a computer all day for work, the less and less I log on after work for any personal computer time. Not that I don't miss talking to several people here, just that I am burned out. Not to mention tired most of the time. Just so you know, it's not you, it's me.

Well, as I already announced, I had another run-in with my ex. I probably shouldn't have done it, but as he had pissed me off, and as his favorite cousin and a few of his friends are on my friends list on my myspace page...
I added to my blog over there. The problem lies in that I detailed both his most recent stunt and his foray into gay not only to the masses, but also to his friends and family. OOPS! ROFL! Guess he either heard about it or saw it as I noticed today that his profile has been deleted. I don't suppose there's any chance that he will be making good on any of his promises to me now, but damn I feel better!
Perhaps the next time I tell someone not to fuck with me they will listen?

They have their pros and cons. Pro - you don't have to get out of the truck to engage them, just slide the stick and you're good to go. Con - they tend to disengage in reverse, not good when the driveway is full of snow and you need to get to the store.
Yes, I managed to get my truck stuck in my own driveway. Not sure quite what I did. All I know is I stuck it in reverse and all it did was spin the wheels. Glad I moved to Idaho though. A neighbor was kind enough to yank me out. I then had to turn around 2 days later and yank my cousin out of her driveway. Ahhh the fun of living back home.
Well, as this is my first year back in the snow, some adaptations have to be made. I am so not getting out of a warm truck to turn cold metal this year. Maybe next year when I have more time to acclimate.
