In our area we are experiencing the most selfish bastards that God should have never created..Unless it's an Elephant charging, they don't believe the invisible will sicken and may kill them...God bless us all...

Hey K you do important work - good on you. A woman I met here several years ago now works on the Navajo reservation as an ER RN. That re has been hit pretty hard so I'm kinda concerned about her. This C-19 is kind of reminding me of Vietnam with the daily boy counts. Stay safe out there. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

THANK YOU for this much needed post and THANK YOU and all your co-workers for putting yourselves on the front line daily. You are so valued!! I am with you in that this thing is NOT going to go away due to the negligence and la-de-da attitude of so many. I am appalled at the number of folks blatantly out and about 90% with no mask. The only way to stop the third wave( I know there is going to be a 2nd one) is to protect yourself. In Norway we have reached 190 deaths of 5 mill. people. Health authorites and the prime minister have gave stern advice in daily press conferences since early February and lockdown was from March 13th. I work as staff in health care but have been redeployed to kitchen duty at a nursing home - as have others. It's good to hear from you again. Thanks for updating us on your whereabouts and doings. There are times I get frightened and then a bit depressed at the state of the nation and the world and wonder if we will indeed recover. But I think most people want to do the right thing, the smart thing and have consideration for others. Here in Michigan the loudest voices lately have been the most obnoxious voices, loudly proclaiming that NO ONE can tell THEM what to do. But we outnumber them and want to show compassion and empathy for our fellows. We won't emerge unscathed. It would be wishful thinking that we will. But we might emerge better than we were having come through the fire and survived. I didn't know you were a healthcare worker! Thanks for all that you do. Now, can you please get that twat out of the White House too? His mismanagement and utter stupidity is causing even more deaths, he is a dangerous murderer! Cuidate amigo!

Aye, I heard that things were getting worse in Philly, PA and NJ. The lack of protection for our frontline health workers (we have the same problem here) is nothing short of wilful negligence on the part of the politicians, murderers. It's very distressing for us to see, and very worrying for you guys. I'm sorry. We have the same right wing pigs too who have complained in the past that too many immigrants and ethnic minorities staff our health services.......I say fuck them, and thank fuck for immigration. I hope you are all okay Koffla.
