Why Don't We Like Philosophy?

I think most people become indoctrinated at an early age. The are told to ignore<b> philosophy </font></b>and abhor other processes of thinking. Why? If you think for yourself, you cannot controlled, by the church, the media, your employer, or the state. I abhor social media because they censor free thought and expression. Everything is about marketing. Why do you think some "lives" matter more than others? These same "lives" that matter more are seen in quite a few fast food commercials. So you are telling me these lives matter but you want them to eat unhealthy food? And another thing, once we start to determine which lives "matter" more. that's when the killing starts. Just ask Pol Pot.

Philosophy gives the individual reason and critical thinking skills. My girlfriends is yrs old and flips out over social issues she doesn't have the perspective understand. I can not even begin challenge her her misguided views because she has been so thoroughly lie by the baloney she has seen on social media posted by people like her.

I fear for the next generation of youth in this country. Void of reason, without the tools to search for the truth. Just like the elite that want to control our thoughts want it.
