You're funny, and sad; and so true. So many things there were wrong; who wouldn't shake a person's hand? Were you wearing panties, or were you hoping? lol. Just kidding FFS. Wow. That would be the final blind date I'd ever agree to if the family think that NG was the right guy for you. Jeez, how rude of him. If he's ordering stuff for you without any consultation or purely on what he thinks is best for you after knowing you for maybe a whole two minutes, is he still living in the 1950s? Hope that ice cream went some of the way to making up for a very poor date. You should have got whoever chose NG for your date to foot the bill for it!

I don't think he falls into the category of "nice gentleman". I think the word might be "misogynist". He clearly has no regard for women being capable of thinking for themselves. Since you told him "my friends and I enjoyed ice cream outside" it clearly shows you are not the only one who can enjoy ice cream regardless of the time of year or temperature. And why not? It's not a seasonal thing, otherwise every ice cream shop in the world would have to close during the winter. Yeah, not happening. I'm not sure I would have stayed, especially if someone ordered for me and it was not what I had just said I wanted. Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!
