A waxing gibbous moon -
I stand. a circle of stones.
Heart. pulsating Eyes. perception

Moonlit clouds drift overhead.

I breath deeply. My thoughts of you.
Wondering what you've been through.

The moon seems to speak.

The cool crisp air on my face.

Yesterday I learned that someone I know went to Hawaii, and I thought that was cool, in it's way, but for me (didn't really impress me at all) ... I feel I have an abundance of beauty in my backyard. (although I am not opposed to travel).

 I've become intrigued by the moon over the last few years. It seems my youngest child has always been pointing it out in the sky from around the time she was two. It's become something we talk about now whenever we're on a car ride and it's visible.

Since my divorce it's also been a source of peace for me. At night I imagine somewhere out there someone else just might be looking up at the same moon as I am, thinking about me.

Oddly enough, with the pink supermoon appearing tonight I've been thinking about writing a poem about the moon too. Your words are quite lovely.

That's cool. You can apply the energy of the moon phases to your passions, desires, thought-forms, in a variety of ways. I will send you some information, in this regard.

Oddly enough, I just wrote a piece called "Across the Universe", which I did not post. I still may. I am thinking of combining it with this other thing.
