Chaos of Christmas Yes I am still alive. Just this time of the year things tend to get bit overwhelming to me. The chaos is what I dislike and the greediness of it all. I know there are good points to Christmas, But since I have no family essentially, you do feel like the odd man out sometimes. But there are good points to even that. Not having to spend loads of on gifts. I am still making some gifts to go to some of my friends. I am hoping to eventually meet a fwb and develop something. Something emotional but it is clearly understood that it goes no further. I think eventually I will find just the right playmate. I know this is , I need to get back into writing. Christmas can be overwhelming. The last few years I've stripped it down to the basics I most enjoy. No writing cards for me now - that was such a chore!

Christmas can be chaotic even when you are not into doing a lot or even anything about it. All that rushing about by tends to make it so. I usually struggle this time of year. With family scattered and kids estranged and the high expectations we load onto ourselves. One of the things I do to keep the spirits up is wear a Santa hat tween Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also I dress sort of like an elf. Wear the hat, red or green tights with green or red top and black boots. Gets a lot of smiles. (I posted a pic of me in the elf outfit in a blog post.) I also bake cookies (in the nude of course0 for the friends I consider family. This year I also have Diane. Do you have any special traditions or things you do to keep your spirit bright? I so hope you find someone or two to be a good friend and as much of a lover as you desire. It can happen before you even realize it. May it happen for you. Would love to see you flashing.
