 thanks for stopping by my blog since this is a subject for love thought you might like this one.......

I have seen the roses
And this should be a top notch restaurant
serving five starred lobsters on a bed
of something expensive. And it is.
But not at all what I expected.
When I call you,
I cry.

I have seen the roses and a shy cloud
with the curling light of the moon in the night;

(your eyes should be green)

it was somewhere in between
exhaling a thought through Felipe Gregorio cigar
and the memory of fingers in my hair.

Contemplating fingertips, I break
legs to get flesh. How it should
play with my tongue and how it does.

‘I love you’, you say with your full lips
and your soft hoarse voice. Somehow
the connection always gets disturbed
when I want to say something important
back.

I always end with Cognac.

I have seen the roses and a shy cloud
with the curling light of the moon in the night
nothing now tastes the same.

I need to be away from here,

up on that cloud
cutting the palms of my hands
on those roses.
