Space stretches
into the distance
I send my breath
towards you

soft like a breeze
tickling your hair
embracing you
pooling around you
making this space

for you
to be
to rest
to feel peace
a breathing space.

 Ages ago I made collages with clippings from magazines. Luckily magazines still exist lol. The collage came first, and then the poem.

 Your a breath of fresh air
A breeze off the ocean
Wind form the west
Warm and light
A gust that blows
the leaf around and around
Cold winter send a chill
thought you to the bone
all you want is to be warm
to smell what ever is in the air
as your nose follows it
see where it comes from
where would you go
if the wind to you there

 In a pause between
an exhalation and the next
the bellows of the lungs
such mechanical imagery
for the spirits we

instead a whispered caress
finer and warmer than silk
sirocco breeze swirling
addressing bare skin
erotic thoughts flower
a blooming of desire

in pause between one breath and next
the thoughts and feelings mix
drifting in the sensual calms
of the tactile dancing breath
upon collarbone and chest
a lover's touch which does not rest
brushing lightly over
in grazing tingles sent
nerve sensations tantalised
the moment in this pause
body awakened and alert
to anticipation and potential
in every single lingering breath

lean in and take the air
shared in lungs this kiss
of heat and life and desire
given to life greater meaning
in the pause between.
