 Hi Mystic. That’s an interesting experience you’ve shared. I’m sure your rediscovery of an important part of your eminent humanness has been rather unexpected so far, and probably a lot more is in store. 😁 I don’t want to disparage your faith, but, unfortunately, it’s role in the suppression of your perfectly-natural sexuality is sadly predictable. It just seems like the monotheistic religions tend to treat women rather inequitably ... to put it mildly. But, the good news is you’ve taking control of this aspect of your life. 👍 Congratulations, and I hope you thoroughly enjoy the experiences which await you. 🤪 😉

 Oscar Wilde said "Everything in the world is about sex except sex. Sex is about power." I am certain Wilde postulated this dynamic in terms of both coercing sex for validation and domination and repressing it for subjugation and control.

While virtually every element of the experience and messaging we receive from everyday life seems to validate this cynical (but all too true) observation, I argue that there are many of us (especially in this blogosphere) who cast intimacy in a brighter, more positive light.

As you explore your eroticism and sensuality, I believe you will find that deeper complementary connections (emotional and intellectual) enhance the physical.
