The doubt between serving a Red Wine or a White Wine?

Red or White Wine?
This is the question that seems to divide wine lovers into two teams. Some people think that the taste of reds is very strong, while many people ar e bothered by the more sweet content of whites. Fortunately, there are options for all tastes and these differences and up dissolving at the first sip of a good wine.
There are several factors that make these two versions so unique. All types of grapes, regardless of their color, can be used in the production of a wine without interfering in itscolor. In addition, the fruits used are sweeter, smaller and have tricker skins than the grapes we buy at supermarkets and fairs.
Generally, red wines are produced with Cabernet Sauvigno, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Barbera grapes , remenbering that a single drink can contain more than one type of grape in its composition.
White wines are produced with Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
But wine, an amazing and special process that simple.
Both reds, roses and whites can be made with red grapes,
What happens is that white wines are made without the white or Greenish tone of the drink, Meanwhilw red and rose wines are fermented with the grapes skins and seeds, and the longer in contact with these skins and seeds, the redder the drink will become. Tannins, in turn, are substances produced by plants.
They are responsible for the bitterness and the feeling of dryness in the mouth - the famous astringency on the palate.
That is, the darker a drink, the more tannins, the greater the feeling of dryness.
That is why white wines tend to be lighter, have a more fruity favor and a marked acidity content, while red wines are heavier and drier, ever in their milder versions.
Precisely due to the high concentration of tannins and the feeling of dryness in the mouth, the red labels harmonize perfectly with the fat of red meats.
Other good combinations with red wine are cod-one of the very few fish that harmonize with this drink - cheeses with a more pronouced flavor-such as gorgonzola and roquefort-souffles and classic pasta. Bet on spaghetti with pomodoro, fillet with wood sauce, ragout of lamb or cod risotto. If your cooking experience is a little less, just open your red wine and enjoy a classic margherita pizza or four cheeses.
These options have no errors and appeal to all types of audiences.

"I love that red wine is good for you. Isn't that cool? I want to hear more of this. I want to hear more things in life like, Red wine, in conjunction with a lap dance, while watching NFL football, is the best cardiovascular workout you can have." ~ Dom Irrera

Thanks for the trip through the vineyard, I have had some good luck making wines from local fruit and still have some that is almost 10 years old.. I kind of favor a sparkling wine as AstI , chilled and it fits a variety of entrees.. Have a good day, be safe..

Alas, as humans acquire more allergies and other food-related health issues, our choices dwindle. I now serve both red and white at gatherings, regardless of menu or occasion. It is now a matter of ensuring that everyone can pour and enjoy.
