Hey, maybe you can help out with a favor. During this COVID down time, the director of our Burlesque troupe asked me to work up a choreography to a particular song she chose. I’ve got one ready to submit to our director as a “concept video”—essentially a draft work of choreography that she reviews and critiques, and decides if I get the thumbs up to keep working on it and get it into performance quality, or if I should let it die. I think Senior Sizzle members are the perfect “audience” to give feedback since I’d guess most of them would enjoy watching a Burlesque show. Now For some reason, Senior Sizzle won't let me post the video on my profile site. So if you are inclined, you can check it out at the following link on vimeo. I’m interested in your opinion…critical opinion!

 Hey Stevie Peavy …great stage name by the way… and a really great “concept video” too. Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” is one of my favorites, and your choreography is spot on. Hope you get the thumbs up to do it on stage. I definitely don’t think you should “let it die”. You’re living proof that there’s sexy after sixty. You should share that message with everyone you can. To that end, I think you should create your vision of the finished performance and enter it in Dan Savage’s 16th Annual Hump! Film Festival. The website has lots of resources, and I’m betting some of your friends in the Burlesque troupe would be willing to help. The deadline for submissions is December 4, 2020 — so you better get your beautiful little butt in gear. No matter what happens, I hope you continue to follow your muse. Your photos and videos have great energy. I can’t wait to see what you do next.

 Always been on of my favorite songs, though I’ve never heard that version, only Nina’s version. The dance is pitch perfect. Teasing, like a burlesque should be, and it ends with the focus on those marvelous legs. Yummy!
