In '92, Guns were supposed to play at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. I almost bought a ticket, but it sounded like a younger man's zoo — it was. Fifty-five thousand jammed in there, and Axel never showed. Things went off the rails, as everyone knows, yet no valid excuse was offered, and NONE — would have been accepted. It was nuts. 🤪 I like that band, but I'm not a fan of Axel and his trip. Of course, their songs kick ASS. And does that heal all wounds? Not for the 55k who waited for the show of their lifetime; they got it, but NOT the one they expected! It was wild and messed up THAT night. I lived a couple of three miles from the stadium.
