 I drove OTR for many years, "Over the road"!
On those days when Dispatch was slow, the load was late, traffic backed up to "Jackson Heights" . but the load still have to be there on time........
I had a CD I made called A100miles, all the songs that lit me up, plug it in and I am gone, slide it into road gear, hit the hammer lane, SilverStreak... justa'gittingit...... "Born to Be Wild" was on there!

There's a reference to a TV theme song in there, remember it?

I hear that. 3 of my brothers are truckers and so was my dad, plus I worked at two truck stops. Glad you enjoyed the posting of this song.
