Some people are never on IM

I see the same women listed as ‘online’ every day yet there are a few that are never available on IM. I wonder why that is

 If you log on the mobile site, it automatically logs you in to IM. People might just be checking their mail or blog etc. not really wanting to talk. Also, it shows ppl online quite a long time after they have logged out.

 They can be away from the device. Talking with someone else. Without tapping on respond a person can see your age, sex and first few words of the message. Maybe the woman doesn't want your age or a male. Maybe doesn't like what you said.
Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.
