Getting old...
Getting old... I turned 30 earlier this year and in the heady pre-lockdown days it wasn't something that I paid much attention , another year older with the only thing different about this birthday was that it took into a new decade. Nothing else about my life changed. Around that time a work colleague about my age came back from a trip to the dentist - she had noticed something about her teeth and gums receding a little, the dentist had told her it was nothing to worry about, it was normal, just a sign of age. She was mock-horrified that she was rapidly entering and maybe descending into middle age. My experience of the ageing process came recently- like many women I get by hopeful young guys. This one though sent a long email explaining how he was attracted older women and mum types, that was his fantasy. He was 18 and saw me as an older woman - one obviously that was a generation (well almost) older than him and a bit removed from being a late . Good judgment on his part no doubt and also fun maybe have a younger guy at my fingertips and teach him a few lessons. Hmm maybe... |

At 30 your young I'm twice your age and still young lol , descending into middle age? No its ascending. Bodies change but is possible to delay the signs and nowadays people do it early the gym culture and easier than ever to look after yourself .The Mrs Robinson young guy syndrome will be with you for life as it is with all women I'd say lol . Some can be very erudite too but of course the older woman syndrome is more likely to be a you will be flattered and easy lol. Occasionally does make you sad that a young guy isn't out living life .Men are'nt too complicated really ' the younger guy replaces the older guy that wanted you when you were in your teens lol .
