Hello lovely I offer my 2 cents worth in reply... I have lived long enough to realise looking backwards only gives you a saw neck... what did or did not happen is gone... what I have learned is if something is meant for you it won't go past you... Living your life like a cork floating around the ocean is difficult but extremely satisfying, free from negative thoughts and associated drama... If you want this man go and get him, if he wants you... it will be but if he doesn't... don't dwell, men are like buses there's another waiting just around the corner. Be happy, be real, be safe, be smart, remember you live everyday... you only die once... make the most of your day. You are a very kind and caring woman. He has left yet comes back how often I don't know. But it seems like it's when he wants advice, or knows that he's lost someone special and would like them back. I was in a similar situation except things were reversed. Something happened and she had called me asking for my opinion as a nurse. She called me back a few days later didn't take any of the advice I gave her. When I asked her why she told me I was being rude to her an hung up on me. It was at that time I realized she was using me because she was unhappy in her marriage. She liked her husband but didn't love him so I was her sounding bored. It was then that I decided to cut off all ties to her, and I am much happier for it. I'm not telling you to cut off all ties to him but it sounds like he's using you like I was being used. If I were you, I'd cut off all ties to him. Both of you have moved on and my guess is that even if you got back together it wouldn't work out. I agree with you that there isn’t another you, and there never will be. Just as there isn’t another him and there won’t be.
