 The life-cycles of romantic entanglements so often end in acrimony and alienation that we have come to accept this sadness as a given. It is a refreshing and teachable moment to encounter an exception to this wholly unnecessary *rule*.

We should all strive to find ways to sustain our connections beyond those moments of turbulence and tears.
