 Good morning my friends! Sorry I didn't mean to be so loud and cheerful, I'll be quieter for those of you who happen to be nursing a sore head.

Who am I kidding, most of you are still asleep right now, or some of you may just be heading to your beds, having partied all night long. Me I went to bed a bit after twelve -thirty last night. No, I didn't watch the ball drop. I've seen it before. I was watching a movie on the classic movie network. The Thin Man Returns. Good film, and part of a movie series made in the forties. Oh I had a couple of drinks as well to celebrate the new years, just a couple. No need to have a swelled head going in to work today, right? Yeah it's back to work for me today. Woo Hoo! not.

I texted both my boys last night a Happy New Year, got a text back from the older one. The middle son I'm sure was busy working himself at the restaurant and couldn't reply. The Daughter texted me a little after midnight. I also got a text from the Male half of the couple who used to invite me over every weekend, the ones I was blogging about yesterday. Wishing me a Happy New year and saying they were having a party, ( just the family ) He of course invited me out, but being so late and no way to get there... Well I told them I wished I could but doing so last night wasn't in the cards. He went on to text that he and she missed the times we used to get together, I told him I felt the same way and that we should get together sometime soon in the coming days. He agreed and logged off, though I did get another text after midnight again wishing me a Happy New Years. So who knows? Perhaps we'll reconnect soon?

Any who, I hope you all had a fantastic New Years Eve, and your headaches go away soon.
