My arthritis is acting up big time. I don't know if the sudden drop in temps going from a high in the sixties down to the upper thirties in a days time span, or if it's the fact that I' a sixty year old guy who still does the work of three twenty year olds on a daily basis? What I do know is that the meds I take to alieve the condition just don't seem to be cutting the mustard anymore. Quite frankly the over the counter pain relievers did a better job when I was taking them than the stuff the Doctor has proscribed.

The Christmas holiday is fast approaching , only ten shopping days left people. ( Nine if you don't count Christmas Day itself and aren't shopping at the local gas station mini mart ) For those of you who love to wait till the last minute, you may be in for a shock when you do get out to the shops to buy those needed Christmas gifts. Like old Mother Hubbard's cabinets the shelves are pretty bare due to the supply chain problems. That special gift you might be searching for just may not be there. Better come up with a plan "B", or "C" just in case. In my case while shopping for the Grand Minion's there was only one gift that I couldn't find. Advertised as having plenty in stock when I got to the shop all of the toys in question were sold out. I had my daughter order one on line, hopefully it will arrive in time to place under my tree? Unwrapped of course, as I've run out of wrapping paper. My last trip to the local store to pick some up all that was available was wrapping paper for birthday gifts.. all the Christmas stuff was already gone.

Will there be snow for Christmas? Who knows, the weather men here are calling for rain...cold sleeting rain at that. I would take a green Christmas over an icy one any time. At least with a green Christmas you don't have to worry about falling on your butt walking down the front stoop. Then again an icy Christmas would be better than last year, outside on Christmas day shoveling three feet of snow off the steps and walkways so the people in the complex could get out and about was no fun, though the over time in the following pay check was a nice little post Christmas gift.

Any who, time for me to hop into my shower now....
