I didn't blog this morning. I'd planned to continue on with the Beth story.. but started reading the erotic stories on here and time slipped away from me. Since I finished the Sunday tale I was relating to you all last week I really didn't have another on tap. I know, excuses I'm dreadfully sorry to any who may have popped by expecting something more as per usual for my Sunday blog post. I'll do better next weekend. Really

Dinner on my mind right now...have a meal planned, but just checked my fridge and found out I don't have tarter sauce for the fish and chips I was going to make. I was going to pick some up when I went shopping yesterday, but didn't. Thinking I had a jar at home. It just goes to show you to check the fridge before you set out to the store. I do have some malt vinegar on hand though, but I like both with my fish and chips. The vinegar softens up the fish batter after cooking making it less crustier, and helps the salt stay on the chips as well, not that I'm supposed to use salt either. I also can't eat fried foods too much so I bake the fries in the oven, and buy the fish pre battered frozen and bake it along with the chips to cut down on the oil. I know I have odd tastes. I also like limburger cheese and onion on rye bread. Funny though I don't see limburger cheese around much anymore at the market. So, I haven't had it in a while. Same with icicle radishes... I use to eat those like carrots growing up. Oh you can get Dycon radish at where I shop, but those things are huge compared to the smaller icicle kind. Don't know if they taste the same either?

I guess the icicle radishes and limburger have gone the way of the Dodo bird huh? Ah well I guess I'll pop by the local mini mart to see if they carry tartar sauce? If not I'll make my own.. I have pickles and mayo...though mot the kinds I usually buy. Both different brands. The shelves were kind bare this last shopping trip. Popular brands sold out or in available. Stocks ordered by the market that were never delivered. That's going to be a problem come the holidays for sure. I wonder if I should put my order for Christmas Turkey in now?

Off to the market for tartar sauce now....

I have been thinking about starting to stockpile my holiday necessities.
I hate it when I am out of my usual condiments.
