No stairwells for a change either. Oh the weekly job still needs done mind you. But There was another unit that needed prepped for a move in for yesterday. So, I never got into the stairwells to do them. With the housing situation here, units are going like hotcakes, houses as well for those looking to buy. Quite frankly, most units are rented before we finish working on them. Case in point the one I'm painting is already scheduled for a move in. I think the woman who looked at it while I was in there painting it last Friday is taking the place. The one that I prepped yesterday the new tenant is taking as is. I say as is because we were going to change out the bathroom and kitchen floors with new, the stuff there now has seen some years and lost it's luster. But that was fine with the incoming tenant. They needed a place A.S.A.P. Then there are the college students returning for the new school year...our one bedrooms are going faster than the rest of the other places. Units finished one day are gone as soon as they are done, sometimes before they are done. With the pace that we're renting the units I'm drained most days ( the high temps. and the humidity doesn't help either ) All I want to do when I get home is hop into the shower and take a nap afterwards. Ah well, I guess it's better than standing around, or looking for work to do. The day passes by so quickly, I don't notice the time passing. Off to shower now...work starting in an hour...
